Kendra & I Turned 25!!!

Monday November 16th Kendra & I turned 25!! Yes it is hard to believe. I look at where I am at in my life now, and its been amazing. I love how it has turned out:) I am so grateful for my family. Trent and Evelyn are the world to me, and we have had so much fun as a family. I feel truly blessed. Well, Trent gave me some tools to boost my editing skills in photo shop. Wahoo it has really improved my work, and was not cheap. He gave me my present early so I didn't expect anything on my b-day from him. When he came home from school I went to go unlock the door... and he was holding these flowers for me. Ahh, flowers always make things better....SIGH. It didn't stop there, he went to the store by himself and picked out a cake for me. While him and Evelyn sang to me (well Trent). That night we took off after putting Evelyn down. We went and saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. It had been way to long since we had been in a theater watching a movie together. We really enjoyed it and had lots of fun. Thanks for a great birthday honey and Evelyn. P.S. This isn't the best photo of me with Evelyn...I feel like I look old and rundown in it. Love the one of Trent & Evelyn with the cake...Look how cute Kendra & I were. Haha the life of a twin. Happy b-day Kendra I love you so much. Cheers to many more years ahead.

So You Think You Can Dance Tour!!

November 7th I got to go to watch So You Think You Can Dance Season 5. It was the best show I have ever been to. The seats we had were great and I basically didn't want to leave. I went with Trent's sister Taryn & his brother Taylor's girlfriend Chelsea (wow thats a mouthful). It was really nice to get away for a night out of the ordinary routine with Evelyn. Trent stayed home and fed her dinner and put her down while I drove. I LOVED JANINE!! Basically I wanted to run down to the stage and give her a hug myself...she is just so cute and amazing. It is one thing to see this dancing on tv, but in real life...you wonder how anyone could possibly be that good. I would love to see every season in person...that won't happen. But, I do want to make it back sometime in the near future. If you have ever wondered about going I would encourage you to do so!! Hope you like the video, this was one of my favorite dances from the season.

HALLOWEEN WAS A TREAT!!

Halloween this year was a blast. Frist of all our little Evelyn was Snow White...ADORABLE. When I saw this costume at Costco I just couldn't resist. She however hated putting it on and ripped it on the sleeve when I was putting her in it for our ward Halloween party. Ah, it just had to stay in one piece for tonight. We met up with Evelyn's cousins Lucy & Abby and went trick or treating around the neighboorhood. We soon joined with another group of parents and their kids. There were about 12 little kids going from house to house together....ALL GIRLS. It was so fun to see Evelyn follow all the girls and hold out her little pumpkin for candy. She tried to go into a few houses as well. What a fun night, hope yours was good as well:)

Finally Some Family Pics...

This last Thursday we were able to have Trent's younger sister Taryn snap some family photos of us from my tripod. Its really hard for us to all be in a photo & look decent. Mostly me cause I am usually pushing the self timer button and then running into the shot. But, we had such a hard time with Evelyn. Basically the shot at the top of my blog was the only really great one we got. Evelyn is not at the age where she is able to sit still for one second. Here is a look at them. I still think they turned out pretty good considering. I love my hubby & little Evelyn so much. I am one lucky girl:)

MOOD SWINGS ANYONE????

What a interesting age Evelyn is at. She is quite the drama queen. And is happy one moment sad the next. She has so many teeth trying to come through, she throws fits in the day and in the middle of the night (oh yes sometimes screaming for an hour, we can't calm her down), climbs like you wouldn't believe, No is #1 in her vocabulary, refuses to get dressed, or have her diaper changed, & gives the best kisses & loves. This is the life of our toddler right now. I am sure all you parents have also experienced it. My parents say its payback time for the fits she is giving me. They said I used to lay on the floor & bang my head over & over on a hard floor. If my parents left the room to ignore me, I would scoot on my back to the room they were in, so I guess she is taking after her mommy a little. I can't believe I acted like that. Isn't it funny what such little minds can think up???

I came across this photo of me and couldn't believe how much it looked like Evelyn! (she refused to look my way at the camera) My parents always say she has my body, mostly my legs, feet and skintone. It is fun to see some of me in her. Like mother like daughter I guess:) So, if you think we look alike give a shout out.

Evelyn is our active on the go girl. We borrowed this slide from Trent's brother Ty and she loves it so much. Its great to have something in the back yard to keep her occupied. I went shopping for her, she had no winter clothes. And I have to say she is pretty styling. Even though I never get new clothes at least my toddler looks cute right? All money towards clothes goes to her...sigh. Someday maybe I can...life of a parent I guess. Hence, I love to dress her every day mostly for church. My little girl is pretty adorable. And should model for Children's Place and OLDNAVY she wears their clothing well. ha ha. P.S. Don't mind the bad lighting and coloring in these, Trent's camera just doesn't come close to mine...it's true.
