1)I deserve a gold star this week. I went out on a limb, and drove me and the girls to Las Vegas by myself. Might seem weird to you cause all you other moms probably go to Vegas about once a week. Well, confession time. The first time I drove there was after Trent and I were married, so around the age 21. Trent and I drove two separate cars home from the strip. I followed him. I am mostly scared of Vegas because there are lots of creeps and I don't know the area at all. So I am not comfortable there. We were low on everything food and necessity wise. I told Trent I needed a Costco run. He said come pick me up in Henderson and I will help you do all the errands with you, then we can run to the Galleria Mall too. Too many good things to pass up. Ok, this was it, I am 27 and have a great vehicle, & gps to take me there. I said lots of prayers & left on the very windy Friday. Trent got off around noon, so I headed to Vegas, with lots of confidence. I wasn't impressed with the route the gps told me to take, kinda a weird detour. The girls were getting antzy & I couldn't wait for my hubby to join us and take over the wheel. Finally I made it to Costco, Trent got there before us & loaded up one shopping cart. We stocked up on everything, it was great. I hate going to Costco on the weekends & dodging around all the people tasting food. Then, we headed to the mall, and we all found some great sales on clothes. Trent got new shorts, the girls got some summer outfits & sandles, and I picked up some summer sandles, and tops, with one dress. We headed to Walmart, then Trent took us to show us where he has been working. It was really cool, he was telling us all about everything. Also it has such a pretty view. We ended our lovely day with the Cheesecake Factory, my most favorite place to eat. Their Herb Crusted Salmon is to die for!! We all scarfed some food, but had to get a few pieces of cheesecake because they are so good. What a great, fun, day. 2)I had to cancel 2 of my 3 classes due to me having a pretty crappy chest cold. Not fun at all, I am finally over it thank goodness. I ran myself too hard last weekend with family stuff nonstop. 3)Evelyn turned four, I can't believe it at all. But, then it seems like we have had her for longer than that too. She got a princess table set with a Princess Friends Forever game on her bday. My sisters Kylee & Kendra were still in town. So, they brought their kids to play at our house. Also my good friend Stephanie Thornton with her kids. We had fun together, Evelyn had a hard time sharing her new toys, but it was great to have them over. Later that day we went to Inside Scoop for dinner Evelyn's choice. Fun day!! Here is Evelyn at the hospital, thanks for making me a mommy. I love you so much Evelyn.
4)The rest of my week was spent trying to get over my cold, not very exciting I know.Sunday, May 27, 2012

Weekly Ten For Us...
1)First thing my brother Ty had his mission farewell today. He did such a great job and all of my siblings were in church together. It was magnificent to look from side to side and see them. All of our kids kept the place hopping.
2)My sister Kendra stayed the night Friday night, so so fun. I helped her make some bows for her Etsie shop. Went to bed way too late and laughed way too hard. I love my twin so much.
3)My sister Kylee stayed the night Sat. night, also so much fun.
4)Trent turned 27 on Sat. He camped out with his friends Friday night by Beaver, Ut, and road about 200 miles on it. Had a blast but had a little snow trouble too.
5)On Sat. we also had a combined B-day party for Trent & Evelyn. We lots of my family come down and attend, and lots of Trent's family as well. Lots of fun but just not enough room in our house. I can only do big parties like that every few years. Completely stresses me out, and I have a cold from my lack of sleep this weekend.
6)I got to have my twin Kendra attend my pilates class on Sat. and get her opinion, she gave me two thumbs up which made me feel great. I kept looking over at her and laughing, she just makes me laugh. Her little girl Sailor is also hilarious, has got lots of spunk to her personality.
7)I....yes Me helped Trent put in his new transmission in. I pumped up the jack and pushed with all my might, but we got it in. I felt proud to be his wife that day! I think he is so sexy while building his cars.
8)I/we almost melted this week, I hate getting into my hot car, and always being sweaty, that's what I get for living in the desert.
9)I had the a pretty crappy night Wed. I taught my class which went fine, then I gave my sister in law Annie the keys (we share a pair to the gym) and everything was fine but I think the new girl closed the closet door which was locked, my fault. I couldn't leave the light on in there, plus I didn't want to pack around my gym stuff. So, I closed the front door that was already locked & drove to Annie's. I knocked on her door but no answer, I knew she was dealing with sick kiddos too, so I thought I would check in her car, they were there, I was kinda in a hurry so I got in my SUV and started to back up. Well I could tell I was a little off the road but I didn't think it was bad. So, kept going...BAD IDEA!! I hit something too low for my backup sensor to see, a huge rock, that I pushed onto a water pipe for a hose hookup. All I remember is I couldn't move my car off of it, and there was tons of water spraying everywhere, I panicked and ran to Ty & Annie's door. Pounding, and screaming to come and see what I did. Ty came to the door and I told him I did he had to come see what I did....I was SO EMBARRASSED!! Plus I started to cry. Annie came out with her crying baby whom had a fever, and shut off the water. Ty hooked my car up to his and pulled me off the rock. Then I went and locked up the gym. Ok I am very lucky to be related to these two people because they could not have been nicer about it!! I just felt so so silly. Wish we could take moments like that away in life. Uhhh....I think my car is fine. I was scared to tell Trent but he was so chill about it.
10)We got to go to the stake center for Ty to get set apart. We had all 7 brothers and sisters there. It was so neat and we all cried. I just love my family, I am so lucky. I also love our stake president, he does such a great job. He is Trent's uncle and we love him dearly.
