1)Had a tupperware party on Friday night. It was really fun, I had some wonderful ladies come and we had fun conversations. Too bad I want to own everything that tupperware makes now. Sheez. Really neat stuff.
2)Evelyn has turned into a clean/neat freak this week. One day she cleaned up each room for me, I was about to go leave and run errands and she said mom your counter is dirty you can't go yet, I have to say I am not complaining about this cleaning frenzy at all. She made my house spotless, only thing is she doesn't want Lyla in her room messing it up at all. ha ha. *I asked Evelyn why she likes everything so clean, her reply was "Because its so beautiful and pretty when it's clean!"
3)FINALLY FINISHED MY CABINETS, I WAS DOWN TO THE LAST MINUTE GETTING THEM UP BEFORE MY PARTY ON FRIDAY. I PROBABLY SPEND 30+ HOURS ON THOSE, BUT EVERY TIME I LOOK AT MY KITCHEN I DON'T CRINGE I REJOICE, I LOVE HOW IT LOOKS NOW. WORTH EVERY MINUTE I MUST SAY. NOW I DON'T HAVE TO STAY UP TILL ONE EVERY NIGHT WORKING ON THEM. I TOLD TRENT I AM DESERVE A SHOPPING TRIP NOW.
4)Lyla is saying lots of words: poop, piget=piglet, Eban=Evelyn, Up, NO,peez=please, dankyou=thankyou. plus lots more.
5)I took such a fun photoshoot this week of Maddy Messer, for her senior pics, it was so fun to get behind the lens again!! I love it so much they turned out great and I will post some shortly.
6)We all had little colds this week, everyone but Trent, cause he never catches anything. We got over them pretty fast. Just grateful we weren't throwing up.
7)Fixed up my front entry way room a little more, put up a bunch of pics of our engagement, and wedding, and bridal pics. I love him so much, really our marriage gets better every day/week. I am one lucky girl.
8)Washed the Denali with Trent's help, holy stressful. Trying to wash a vahicle that nice, and keep it wet so it dries ok, wow.
9)We saw a gopher in our yard, I ran to get the shovel for Trent by then the bugger figured out Trent wanted to slice him up, shucks.
10)Evelyn got a bunch of new clothes from the childrens place, she loves them and looks so grown up in them.

Our Week...10 Things About It:D
1)Trent mowed the lawn for the first time in months, it's already growing back really green. I love spring so much.
2)Celebrated my niece Kinley's first bday Sat. in Santa Clara, UT. With half of my family. It was so fun, that first year flies. She looks so much like Elliah, it's crazy. The kids had lots of fun seeing their cousins.
3)Trent and I picked up some new curtains at home depot for our front room, they look way better than the other ones did. I love little improvements that do a lot for the home.
4)Had an amazing time early Sat. morning with my mom and mother in law Camille. Oh boy did we have fun, we went to the huge yearly yardsale that our valley holds. I think there was around 50 going on. What a blast we had. One of our favorite things to do. Getting up early even after very little sleep was so worth it.
5)I found two things I am so giddy over. I go to yardsales for photo props. I feel I hit the jackpot yesterday. First up I found a baby cradle that is about 100 years old...gorgeous, in amazing shape. $95 a little pricey but it was perfect, couldn't pass it up. I can't wait to jack it up with an amazing paint color, oh ya it's gonna look so neat. My second find was this offwhite loveseat, that is also in great condition, $10...yeppers I am one happy girl:D Plus we all had so much fun together!! I love my mom and Camille so much. They are amazing women and are also great friends.
6)Evelyn is doing amazing with her letters and sounds. So proud of her and can't wait to see what preschool does for her.
7)Lyla is down to one nap a day, and it kinda stinks but she is a great sleeper when she is down.
8)Got to experience an amazing drive in the denali on the way home from St. George yesterday. It was pooring rain, it has the best traction, I feel so safe in it. Plus we found out the windshield wipers have sensors on them, so they speed up/slow down when they need too. I find a new little gadget I didn't know about this weekly.
9)Evelyn gets to give her first primary talk today, I will let you know how it goes. She will be so cute up there.
10)We bought some decorative rocks to tidy up our front yard, we need to do a better job with it. It's just so big, but we gotta step it up ya know:/

Weekly Ten...

1)Best part of our week was doing an endowment session at the St. George temple with my family members and Trent. My youngest brother Ty went through for the first time. Other members of the fam who made it. Kylee, Elliah, & Isaac (well made it to the temple didn't have his recommend...bummer deal). My mom and dad and Julie Masters. What a great night.
2)Trent and I finally got a license plate put on the Denali, so now I don't feel like I will get pulled over every time I pass a cop. Hooray.
3)Also I got my address changed on my drivers license, last pic was taken when I was 21. Didn't want to give up that pic. I apparently forgot to put mascara on, she showed me the pic. All I could think about is how much I have aged. ugg. Can't wait to look at that all the time in my wallet...yay.
4)We all went out to eat after the temple, it was so much fun. Brick Oven, we all went except for Elliah, cause of her little one who still nurses.
5)Got the Denali back from the paint shop....man it looks great. Scratches gone and I think I find another reason to like it every day.
6)We got a new primary presidency this week. Now its Pres. Nancy Tuttle, Me, Denise O'Toole 2nd coun. and Trish Ott still is the secretary. I am looking forward to working with these women and love having a calling for my church.
7)Evelyn had a breakthrough this week in being her sweet self again, after taking some major privileges away from her, she decided its better to talk nice to mommy and get praised than to get bad consequences. I feel love for her again:D
8)Got a little further on my cabinets. Gotta really plug away at them this week. sheez, its getting old.
9)Taught 2 pilates classes Wed. night and it was pretty tiring. But, I really enjoyed it as well.
10)Lyla's new word for the week: gock=rock it is so so cute. Plus she loves to say NO to everything I ask her. Evelyn told me she can't wait to get married in the temple. I said...yes to a handsome boy. She said, will he be a big boy or a little boy?" I said a grown boy cause she will be grown. She will make a beautiful bride someday. I dream about my girls temple weddings all the time. How fun that will be:D
11)Put new stuff on Evelyn's wall, I really love the owl one. and the green one. Funny story about that green pic. I spent so long sticking it to the class very carefully. The next day Evelyn broke it, and then I got another one made and class cut, tada it looks great.

Weekly Ten...

1)Trent got his new Mustang seats..as you can see from the pic he s pretty dang happy with them. He reminded me of a kid in a booster seat though. lol. That was his Valentine's present from me. I didn't pick them out of course.
2)Have put in about 12 hours of my week towards painting our kitchen cabinets, it has been so much work and I have been wanting to do it the day we have moved in. So 10 1/2 months later I am finally getting around to doing it. From the photo, the ones on top is the new color the bottom cabinets are the old 70"s icky ones. I will show a pic when its finally completed.
3)We were able to attend the St. Thomas Alive celebration. St. Thomas is the place where pioneers first settled for the valley we live. It was youth conference and they hiked for 19 miles to get to St. Thomas. My mother and Trish May attended together. They hiked all the way to St Thomas, but came back home for the night. My mother tripped on something in the night and hurt her wrist and ribs, needed a docor...she is ok. They said the experience of the trek was amazing. I felt the spirit so strong even for the few hours I was there. I carried Lyla back to the truck which was a pretty long walk, and I could just imagine how hard it was to walk, and walk, and walk, while holding a child. Those women were AMAZING!!
4)Last night Trent was able to play in the Pirate Alumni Baseball Game, which he was really happy to do so. I have to say he looked pretty cute out there in his baseball pants. I love him in those, just saying he has a cute bootie. He had a good hit. We got to visit with some fun people and freeze. lol. We only lasted about half of the game.
5)Friday we drove to Mesquite to meet up with Trent with lunch, he is currently working at the Virgin Valley High School. I picked up some new tires for the Denali here in Overton and we had them put on for while we met for lunch. Trent drove the Denali home and good news the shake is gone. The tires were off balance, what a relief.
6)My mom and I headed to St. George Tuesday, because I had a mouth checkup from my surgery. Everything looks good, my mouth is still tender, but getting back to normal. Got to see Elliah and her cute family. Picked up stuff at Costco, and earrings at Claires. So thankful to have Grandma & Grammy close to help me on trips sometimes. Found out our backup camera on the Denali is broken, but we can fix it if we want. I am in Love with that car. I just can't get over it. It is so so nice.
7)WE SOLD OUR SATURN, I THOUGHT I WOULD BE SAD...BUT NO I WAS NOT. SEE YA LATER, ON TO NEW ADVENTURES IN MY DENALI!! OH YA:D NICE TO GET $2,400 TO PUT TOWARDS NEW TIRES, REGISTRATION, INSURANCE, AND FIXING SCRATCHES ON DENALI.
8)I am sad/lost when I think about Evelyn's attitude and how she talks to me most of the time, I feel so helpless and out of control. I feel like every day is getting harder with these girls. Good thing I have the opportunity to pray and read my scriptures. Oh, and vent to other moms.
9)Lyla is still just as clingy to me as ever, therefore not making me baby hungry at all for the moment. She also was sleeping with her eyes wide open on the way home from church, so freaky. She gets that from her daddy.
10)Trent got his fenders put on the Mustang and he was so excited. Will be ordering his new engine soon. His graduation present from his parents. Oh he is like a kid in candy store just thinking about it.
