Last week was a crazy one for us. We celebrated Trent's 25th birthday on the 19th and Evelyn's 2nd birthday on the 21st. Yep it was birthday week for us here at the Leavitt home. We had Trent's party up here in Provo and Evelyn's down in Logandale with our families. It was a very busy/crazy weekend but we had lots of fun. On Trent's big day Taylor and his girlfriend Chelsea came over for dinner a& cake and ice cream. We had Evelyns party the day after her b-day, because Trent's grandparents Verla & Elwyn celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party on the day of her birthday. Thanks to all of those who put forth effort to make their birthdays special!! And for the lovely gifts you gave them.

Thanksgiving Point Car Show!!
This last Sat. Trent got off work early so we could hit up the car show. His brothers went earlier and he found someone to cover his shift. It was a great family outing. Evelyn was great in her stroller. We both enjoyed looking at the fancy Mustangs. It made me excited that we have one now. We walked around and then ate some churros..YUM. I had fun shooting these pics. I just don't take good pics lately, but wanted to get one with Evelyn. She is getting tired of me wanting to take photos she won't look at the camera very easily now.

30 Weeks Along!!

Today I am 30 weeks pregnant. And yes, you can go ahead and think it....I AM HUGE!! I was not this big with Evelyn until about a week before I was due. It's a little depressing to me. But, I just have to keep telling myself. It is my second child and I am trying to stay in shape. I go to the gym as much as I am able and try to eat the best that I can. I don't know how my body can stretch for 9 more weeks. I have never been so tired in my life. Trying to keep up with Evelyn, keep up with the house, and take care of my pregnant body. I can't bend, wear anything comfortable, or stop going to the bathroom. This baby is definitely lower than Evelyn was. I guess the nice thing about having a planned C-section is that you can really plan for it. And I only have 9 weeks cause they have to schedule it at least a week before your due. We can't wait to meet our other little girl. Meanwhile I will be starting on her room and trying to get all ready.

A Wonderful Day!!
This Mother's Day was truly one of the best ever. I stayed home from church because I have an icky cough from my cold. But, besides my cough it was fabulous. First off, Trent got up and let me sleep in really late. He took Evelyn to church & handled all of my RS duties. Trent helped me make dinner and clean up. Couldn't begin to tell him how much he helped me. We had fun cooking dinner, Evelyn was still napping...so it was just us. We had Ty & Annie over for dinner and we had a blast with them and their girls. He also got me these gerber daisies Friday....cause he got back late sat. from a four wheeling trip with his friends down in Kanab, UT. They are so pretty & perfect, that they look fake. He took Evelyn to go get them. I snapped these photos of us outside in the yard today. It was finally really nice weather here. Trent is sleeping in his chair...dreaming about his new Mustang...ha ha. I really am so grateful I get to be a mother to such a darling little girl. Evelyn has made us so happy, we just adore her. I am also grateful to meet our other little girl in 10 weeks, she will be a great addition to our little family. This photo of Evelyn and me...our hair color couldn't be more different. I just dye my hair dark brown and like it the best this way. Evelyn has Trent and her aunt Taryn's color of hair. Thanks Evelyn and Trent for a wonderful day. I love you two oh so much:)

We just wanted to tell our mothers how much we love and appriciate them. They do a lot for us and we wouldn't be the same without them. Thanks for raising us so well, and we are glad you two are such great friends. We are convinced that we both have the best inlaws we could ask for:)

On To The Next Project.....

Many of you who read this know what "THE GHOST" is...Trent's blue truck that is made from like 3 other trucks that he completely restored. I mean put every bolt in EVERYTHING the works. Well, its finally finished..(at least he says that). He wanted another project to work on, so he doesn't go crazy up here at school. He can't ever sit still, which I think is a great quality. I love how smart he is with gadgets and parts. Anyways we have talked about getting him an old Ford Mustang one day and fixing it up. I have always loved this type of car so I agreed he could get one...someday. I didn't think it would have been for at least 5 more years...but here it it. Trent or should I say WE own a 1967 Ford Mustang. He has been saving up for one for a while and did lots of extra work to earn the money. I didn't really think we should get one right now. But, he found this one on KSL and fought off lots of guys for it. $2600 and in pretty great shape, plus its got a decent paint job on it. I wouldn't have let him get it now, if it would have made us broke or put us into debt. It worked out pretty well, and he is so excited. I was very excited when he pulled up and I got to see it for the first time. It will be a long time until he gets it finally restored....for financial and other reasons. But, he agreed that I can use it for photo shoots when it is complete. I was able to get a new lens and some other camera equipment from it. Not to mention I have done lots of shopping for baby stuff. So, we play our cards out pretty well with eachother. Usually if he gets something, I get something I want or need from it, and vice versa. So, Happy Early B-Day Honey I Love You, and can't wait to see what you do with this thing. P.S. Evelyn loves it as well, she couldn't stay out of it today.

A Few More Changes...
So, I know I just posted about Evelyn's room but I added a few more things that really finished it off nicely. I replaced her pink and brown curtains with aqua and white ones. I love what this did....really made the room let in a lot more light and now it goes better with her bedding. We bought this flower lamp at IKEA for $10 and its really cool. The cord is the stem and goes up the wall. She loves turning it on before we read books and sing songs at bedtime. And this adorable hair clip holder my sister Kylee made me. I have seen her make similar things like this so I asked her if she would be willing to make one for Evelyn. I L-O-V-E it thanks Kylee its perfect. Now that Evelyn's is done....I can start on the one for our next girl. It should be fun...I have so much fun decorating for girls.

We Met Sailor
I have done lots lately that I have wanted to post about...but I am going to be honest. I have been so tired and its been crazy. Trent, Evelyn, and I finally made our trip up to Logan to see Kendra and meet little Sailor. She is a doll, and looks just like Kendra did as a baby. I think she was excited to meet her favorite aunt:)I didn't want to leave her. It made me very excited to have another little girl though. Evelyn didn't really know what to think of her. I have to say Kendra and I were brave to want to be in a picture. We both didn't feel very cute. Not to mention my face is getting thicker. But, I am glad we took a photo so we could document the trip. It sure is a sacrifice on your body to have babies but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Look what you get from it!!
