When I think about this past week or describe it to someone I think I had a baby through c-section. I was in that much pain.
Trent left Thurs. to go hunting in AZ. I was fine with this and had stuff planned for me and the girls. Basically be a lazy house wife...lol. I got to attend the Stake RS women's conference. Where Del Parson spoke and talked about losing his dear wife and how that made him be able to draw Christ how the the LDS Church wanted him to look. It was very moving and humbling.
Friday I noticed a weird pain in my left ovary but didn't think much about it. I had weird pains the last year in my whole uterus. And when I had my HSG test done, my left tube was blocked so I thought that had something to do with it. I went to bed.
Sat. I was out doing yard work while the girls played I noticed a pain in my abs....all of the sudden it was intense, out of control, fold over and cry pain. I ran inside and called my Mom. Trent had no service. She came over while I called my docs office in tears. At first Dr. Ott told me that it may just be from Clomid and I am just ovulating well. Then, he said, it also could be an ovarian cyst that may burst. If you take IB profin and it doens't go away or your feel lightheaded and like your will throw up. Then, you have to go to the ER. I hung up the phone took medicine and waited. It did not get better it got worse. I was on my stomach on the floor not knowing what to do with myself or how to cope with the pain.
My Mom got here and didn't know how to help me. She stayed for a while and then my Dad came over and gave me a blessing. The lightheaded feeling went away and I told my Mom she could go too since she had to prepare her lesson for RS the next day. As soon as she left I called her back. I had gotten up and the nearly passed out. Then her and my Dad came back and my super sweet Daddy drove me to the St. George hospital. I thought it was hilarious how I couldn't even tell my husband what was going on. Luckily he was heading home and I knew he would get service soon.
My dad and I arrived at the hospital and waited for nearly 2 hours before we got back. I was in so much pain I kind of wanted to leave. Then they called my name and I was in. They put me in a gown asked me questions and then the two other docs came in. So there was a male nurse and two male docs. I was having to tell them about my infertility and ovaries lol.
The first thing the main doc said when he pushed on my stomach is you most likely have apendicidis. Oh awesome I thought!! lol Not really. He said, "Since your on Clomid it may be a cyst so we will do an utlrasound and check that out as well." I sad and waited for a half hour. My dad was still in the regular waiting room. They put me into a wheelchair and helped me onto a bed in the other room where they did an ultrasound. I was secretly sad. The only other time I have ever got an intense ultra sound like that is when I had a baby inside my tummy. It made me miss those times.
Right away the ultrasound tech said. Your left ovary is huge. Usually it is like at a size 3 but now it is at an 8. She said I did have a cyst that burst. and the fluid was all over and that is why I felt the pain everywhere.
From my blood work they also found I had a super high white blood cell count, and my biliruben was through the roof. So the doc wanted to do a CT scan just in case it was my appendix. He said that the white blood cell count indicated that but not the biliruben.
They did a CT scan and it was crazy to actually go into one of those tuby things kinda cool. I remember them putting a dye into me and it made my uterus really hot, weird but kinda neat. It also brought my back to my C-section days of being in an operating room. It made me miss babies again.
After that CT scan they found out it wasn't my appendix just a burst ovarian cyst. They said I need to maybe have some other tests in a week or so to see if my gallbladder was ok...cause of the bilituben. They gave me some prescription pain meds and we were off.
I could barely walk at all. We drove to the 24/7 pharmacy and filled the prescriptions. Which I totally regret now since I hardly took them and one cost me $73 with my insurance. blah!!! And they backed up my plumbing which is never a picnic!! It has been such a hard recovery. I felt like I have had a c-section and no baby.
I am so thankful for my Mom for being to willing to come to the rescue. My Dad for holding my hand and being there for me and driving me. The doctors and staff at that Intermountain Hospital are so amazing!! I will always go there. And my wonderful husband Trent who took them best care of me he could. He is such a great Daddy to our two beauties!
Phew....that wore me out. But I had to document it.

It is Feb. 5th again...
I am writing today because it was my due date a year ago. I am still not pregnant and am still sad by it all. I thinks it is very clever how Heavenly Father lets us go through trials we never plan/expect to have. If someone told me when I was 24 I would have a miscarriage in the future and never be able to conceive for a long time after I would have laughed at them. That will never happen to me I can get pregnant so easily. Never say never I guess!
I think it really hits me when Evelyn asks me why we don't have a baby brother/sister for her. Last month as I was tucking her into bed she asked."Mom, how come you haven't had another baby yet?" I really want a baby brother, I already have a sister and I just want a baby. I looked at her and took a deep breath, "If Heavenly Father wants to send us another baby he will, but sometimes things don't come when we want them to come. I held back my tears before I left the room. I cry the most about it when I talk to my mom and sisters about it. Not much to Trent.
Trent could not be more supportive and awesome about it all. He calms me down and tells me "We should be so grateful we have the girls, if we don't have another at least we have them, maybe we will get another one. He is the best husband I could ask for. And such a great example to me of being positive.
I can't help but think about my good friend Nicole May who died Feb. 3rd 2002 suddenly from having the flu. We went and took flowers to her grave on her anniversary. I think that the first week in Feb. will always be a little hard because of those two things. I can't imagine the pain and heartache her mother feels every year on Feb. 3rd.

Weekly Ten:
1) Lyla got her first burn ever. Trent and I went on a date last night. And Ari Messer watched the girls at her house. They were making a cake and the girls wanted to help. Lyla reached down and touched the burner. Meanwhile Trent and I went to a awesome Agent movie that is was intense and pretty good. Then we ran to Walmart. Lyla was so sad when we went to pick her up. But, she is doing fine today. I hate seeing my girls get hurt and sad.
2) Trent is on cloud nine. Next week his Mustang is getting primed for paint. He is so happy, it has been a long time waiting for paint. I am also excited for him to finish his Mustang...finally!!
3) Evelyn only has one more heart word section to get through. So proud of her, we have so far dodged the lice that is going around the school. Not fun and I really hope we don't get it.
4) Lyla has shown a terrible three side this week. As I have put her in time out more and realized she gets away with so much more than Evelyn ever did.
5) Trent and I just got tickets to go to the Parade of Homes in St. George this Feb. We are going to look at house plans and get a better idea for ours. I am excited:)
6) Trent chopped up our RZR. He had an extra roll cage and made it lower so it will be able to fit into a toy hauler better. I actually like the look of it a lot better. He is so awesome he wants something done and he does it!! That's a good man right there. I will have to post a picture.
7)Lyla didn't want to go to church today 1 pm church is rough. She was one tired little girl. They brought her to me asleep during young women's. One thing I never get tired of is her being so attached and cuddly with me. However, sometimes it is a little tough.
8) My chickens are getting really big. No egg laying yet, but I really miss not having eggs, so handy.
