WHAT THE.....EVELYN!!

A FEW THINGS THAT PROVE EVELYN IS ALMOST TWO:
1)She took off her diaper right before her bath...(while I was getting things ready) went into her closet and left mommy a great surprise. Yep...had two great poops for me to clean up. The funny thing is she did it and then came and got me and pointed to them. She usually goes into her closet closes the door and fills her diaper on a daily basis. At least she didn't get artistic with it right?? ha ha Probably won't be long before she does.
2)I was putting her down for her nap today and I asked for a hug. She gave me the best hug she has in a long time. Layed her head on my shoulder and just sat there...it was lovely until she sunk all of her teeth into my shoulder and bit me. Ouch..mommy wasn't happy. It really ruined the moment too.
3)Can throw some pretty good fits on a regular basis. However has become a lot better once we explain whats going on and why she can't have what she wants. Trent is great at calming her down. I think its great when you become parents both of you are better or can get through with different ways. That's why it works cause we balance each other out.
4)She used to be the one getting hit on the head and pushed around for toys in nursery and on play dates, but now she puts up a fight back. She isn't horrible at this, some days are worse than others. I've decided she loves to play with girls and not so much boys. The other day I was at my friend Julie's house and she has a little boy Evelyn's age Boston. Well, he would just stare at her and stare and she would walk right up to him and smack him in the face...over and over. It was kinda funny. Watch out boys in the future...Evelyn doesn't like to be checked out. lol

Your Getting So Big!

These photos were taken at my sister Elliah's house, as we were honoring my Grandpa Askeroth's life. She missed her nap and you can tell she is really mellow in these photos. We definitely payed for that on the ride home. Naps are the best thing ever. But, I just look at these pics and can't believe this is my little girl Evelyn...where has my baby gone. She will be two in May! So hard to believe, it really does go too fast.

We Finally Caved!!

So...this is kinda dumb to post about. But, Trent and I finally just gave in and both signed up for facebook profiles today. After years of holding off and not. I guess we liked being different. Until we felt a little left out and wanted to know more about what people from our graduating class were up to. I want it more for exposure to my photography. So, we are now facebookers:) FYI I don't plan to spend a lot of time on there...so I don't want anyone to get their feelings hurt when I don't respond or anything. I already spend too much time on the computer as it is.

Dear Evelyn & Daddy~ You two are so fun to watch and be around. I love your goofy moments and your sweet tender moments. Daddy you are so good with Evelyn she just adores you. Evelyn is lucky to have you because your the fun parent:) I hope these goofy and sweet moments never end. Thanks you two for all the fun times. Love, Mommy

Things I Can't Get Enough Of Right Now....

1)Evelyn's hugs and kisses.
2)My morning and nightly showers with my Dove Beauty Bar. I swear I use up one in a week!! I try all of the kinds they have & like to change it up. Could a bar of soap get any more blissful?
3)Every single movement from my baby girl. Pregnancy is the most amazing miracle.
4)Oranges, oranges, and more oranges...can't get enough of them...(Evelyn too).
5)Gym time or me alone time...any chance I get go work out and get time to myself. Which doesn't happen very often with Trent's busy schedule!!
6)A night together with Trent, he has been working every night and usually doesn't get home until 11:30.
7)SLEEP....AHHH YES SLEEP. A PREGNANT GIRLS BEST FRIEND:)
8)Talking to my family...just about every day I call one of my sisters (or all of them) and my mommy.
9)Spiritual revelation for myself from attending church or the temple. I love leaving Evelyn at nursery and being able to really listen to the lessons again. Better love that now, cause it won't last once this baby comes. Trent and I have been trying to make it once a month to the temple since we are so close, and time baby will come and not let me go while nursing.
10)Comfortable clothing that I feel cute and can breath in. Which is hard to find right now.

OnE SnOWy AFteRNoON.....

We had a crazy snow storm the other day. I couldn't resist taking a photo of the park...this is the view I get to look at. Its so fun to have the park so close by. I haven't been taking any photos with my nice camera this pregnancy. It is just hard to get it out and set up my lighting. And nobody has asked me to do any jobs! I needed to take some fun ones of Evelyn. She was in a pretty fun mood. She loves to play hide and seek in her curtains. I can't believe how grown up she is.

We Love You Gramps...

Today I got the news that my Grandpa Askeroth has passed away. He has been in and out of the hospital for the last 2 months. He would almost go...get better & almost go all over again. Jerry Askeroth was one of the sweetest people ever! He came across shy if he didn't know you. But, he was so fun to talk to and loved history and his family. He leaves behind his wife Paula Askeroth. And his two sons Todd & Jess, and daughter Paige. Plus there families. I am so sad to know he isn't here...but glad he isn't suffering anymore and can join our Heavenly Father and be happy on the other side. I just am sad for my dad...cause it was his dad. I can't imagine how hard it will be one day to lose my parents. Life really is so short. We will miss you Gramps and love you so very much!! This is a photo of him at his 75th bday a few years ago.

The Wait Is Over.....

We are expecting another little girl!! Its pretty crazy. I had a feeling it was more a boy...the last couple of days. But, as Trent and I climbed into the Ghost to drive over there...I was maybe thinking girl. The woman who did our ultrasound put the gel on me and the first shot she got was a wide open shot of the legs spread. Right away she said..."Its a girl you guys". No mistaking it...pretty clear to all of us!(When I was pregnant with Evelyn we were in there forever trying to get her to open her legs and reveal herself to us, the nurse wasn't sure so she had to get a second opinion). Trent and I were just laughing. On the Leavitt side of Trent's family..she will be the 5th granddaughter & the 8th great granddaughter. Don't know when the Leavitt's will get a little man in there.
We are sooo excited to be able to welcome another little girly girl into our cute little family. I think Evelyn will love having a younger sister. Also, now we don't have to go out and buy all boy stuff. We do hope that we will get lucky to get at least one boy in the mix. I would post photos of the ultrasound but she was facing down and they couldn't get a good profile shot. Maybe next ultrasound I can do that. The other shots just weren't super good. I wanted to have Evelyn hold this It's A Girl sign all by herself but she refused. So now I can start getting all of my baby clothing out again...Yeah:)
