Dinner With My High school Friends Katie & Cassidy was just what the doctor ordered for me Thurs, we had a blast. Cassidy currently lives in Hawaii so we don't get to see her much. We talked & laughed and did it some more. Ate at Los Lupes in Mesquite then ran to Walmart to grab a few things. I just heart good friends, who love you for who you are!! I felt like we were in high school again!! Thanks ladies.

The Weekly Ten (Past Week and 1/2)
1)Evelyn started swimming lessons. First day didn't get in the water, second went under water, 3rd day didn't really get in. Oh well at least we are trying. Baby Steps Right?
2)Lyla threw her first fit ever yesterday. I had to pin her down like usual to file her nails and she was soo MAD AT ME!! Usually forgives me after I let go of her but nope, gave me a dirty look & kept throwing her head back on the floor screaming. Wow, and it BEGINS....SIGH.
3)I am still nursing Lyla & in the excitement of her finally sleeping through the night consistently I got a clogged milk duct in my right breast. OH MAN NOT FUN AT ALL. NOT FUN...NOT FUN...GET MY DRIFT HERE!!
4)Went out to eat with some close high school friends and we still act like we are in high school when we are together. Talk about a laugh fest oh man. Thanks Cass & Katie for a great night of laughing, old memories & making new ones.
5)Trying to spray paint our curtain rods in well 112 degree weather with wind is not ideal. I had to find that out the hard way.
6)I found out sweet Kathy Johnson from my pilates class passed away. She was so nice and such a joy to have in class. She will really be missed. My prayers go out to her family.
7)Did sharing time in primary for the first time ever. Was really nervous but it wasn't that bad. I think I am going to love this calling. Kids really make me smile.
8)Trent and I got our hallway painted (minus the corners). One step at a time, I have to keep reminding myself that or I will go crazy with getting our house painted.
9)Bought the girls life jackets...bring on the lake trips. And I have been dying to get my sun on, and get tan. Not to mention stay cool.
10)Right before I went to bed last night, I saw the biggest cockroach crawl under our bedroom door. I quickly grabbed a shoe and hit it hard. I thought I killed it. Went to go find something to pick it up with, came back and gone. That sneaky play dead roach. Ugg...it was midnight and i couldn't just turn on the light and search my whole room. I had the hardest time going to sleep and had dreams all night long that the roach was crawling on my pillow. Was dead all over my back...you name it. I kept turning the lights on to check...ugg hate the creepy crawly feeling. To my surprise the pest was dead by Trent's side of the closet. I am still so mad at it I refuse to pick it up. Trent can later.

Drumroll Please...PHOTOGRAPHY ANNOUNCEMENT

I am now going by Pure Bliss Photography By Tara Leavitt. This name has really been thought out long and hard. I have been wanting to change it up for some time now. I am striving to get all in order for my photography business. I love photography, but its hard to fit it in with my busy life. However since I don't want to stop completely, and it is a HUGE part of who I am. I will keep doing it. Only be picky on what I will shoot & when. So, if you do want me to take some photos give me a shout out. I will let you know when my new website is up with pricing and all. Here are some of my most recent shoot. Amanda Monk is my most treasured friend. WE GO WAY BACK. I have taken lots of photos of her. But, this is probably my most favorite shoot. Doesn't she glow pregnant?

Do We Look Alike Here?

We bought this Minnie outfit when Evelyn was 11 months at Disneyland. Put it on Lyla and had to do another photo shoot to compare. What do you think? I think they look like sisters but still have their own individual look.

The Weekly Ten :D
1)BIGGEST NEWS EVER...THE LEAVITT SIDE FINALLY PRODUCED A BABY BOY. TYSON & ANNIE WELCOMED LITTLE RODNEY BYRON LEAVITT JUNE 11TH. FIVE GIRLS & NOW ONE BOY!! EVERYONE IS VERY EXCITED AND HE IS A LITTLE STUD FOR SURE.
2)Got a new calling in church. Primary 1st Councilor, yep pretty shocking. But, I am very excited to get going in it. Got to be there this last Sunday and well it was a whole different world. But, it was good. Business to follow I am sure.
3)Added a Saturday morning pilates class to my schedule and well it was a great way to start off my Saturday. If peeps keep coming I will keep having it.
4)Organized the garage and had a blast doing it with my hubby. Man it feels we will never ever feel like we are getting settled.
5)Lyla is choosing to walk over crawling for 99% of the time. She just goes, goes, & goes.
6)Went to the lake with Rod & Camille. What fun that was.
7)Attended my youngest brother Ty's high school graduation. My parents are empty nesters now, pretty crazy.
8)Got to hang out with my sister Kylee, Clinton, & Maddox. This was really fun, we did some brainstorming about Lyla's B-day cake. It's going to be fabulous.
9)Almost ran over a bunny, honestly I am tired of these animals making a break for it right as I am driving over/by them.
10)Didn't go to bed as early as I should have, I just have to get lots of my cleaning and stuff done after the girls go down.

Fun At Lake Mead!!
Grandma & Grandpa Leavitt invited us to go out on their boat with them Wed. afternoon. We were really excited. It had been years since Trent & I went. I will admit it was a little scary to take out the girls. That is a very large body of water. And there wasn't a small enough life jacket for Lyla. The drowning thing really freaks me out.(I just signed up Evelyn for swimming lessons, she is so excited). So I basically held onto her for dear life. The girls loved both the water & the sand. Lyla thought the sand was a crunchy snack. We had a hard time finding a beach since the water is finally starting to go back up. We wanted to fish, but didn't have much time. Had to get back in time to put the girls down and get to my pilates class. I didn't realize the gas in my car was on empty and Trent insisted that we would make it there and back. And we did by many prayers in my head. He he. It was a fun afternoon. Thanks Rod & Camille!!
