Quality Time...

Evelyn & Camille (Trent's mom). Where Evelyn gets her middle name Camille from. I thought this was cute of them together & wanted to share it. She is a great grandma and its fun when she visits.

Daddy has returned...Yeah:) It was so nice to get Trent back Wed. night. He came home with this spikey surprise on his face. His "Huntin Beard" as he calls it. Did I mention he grows all RED hair on his face. We don't really know why but its pretty funny none the less. I told him the "Huntin Beard" can stay for a few days & that is it. I am not a fan of facial hair on anyone really. Evelyn loves having him home. And cries for a long time when he leaves the house. She is a huge daddy's girl. Doesn't she look old in this photo??

16 Months Old!

Our little Evelyn has changed so much in the past few weeks. Her personality is really starting to pop. She is always jibber-jabbering and saying words. She loves to climb things and has no fear of anything. Sometimes I leave the room and come back to find her standing on the computer chair moving the mouse around as fast as she can. Pretty funny. She runs whenever her feet hit the ground & we can't wait till she hits 18 months so she can go to nursery and we can sit at church again. I think she will love it when she goes to. She recently has a hard time sharing toys and likes to say no no while shaking her head. She is very fun handful.

L-O-N-E-L-Y

Normally I wouldn't ever post about a dead animal & hunting. However, right now this is what Trent is doing around Flagstaff, AZ. Yes, that is correct he has left me to do this...once again. (Pics from last year). This year he is bow hunting so it is a little trickier to get and Elk this way. You have to be way closer. He left the day AFTER our anniversary...it is a good thing too. I love it when this time of year comes because it means our anniversary, my birthday, holidays...but I hate it due to the fact that it is once hunting season again. He has been gone since Thursday & may be coming back as late as Thursday. I am very lonely without him. It gives me a taste of how I felt when he was on his mission...not fun. I can't sleep at all in our big bed alone. Plus I could always use help with Evelyn. I didn't come from a hunting family, so it is hard for me to make sense of it all. But, it is what he loves to do. I tell him, go get all your manly needs taken care of. To all you women out there that become widows for half of the year....we are very generous wives. Wish me luck as I possibly will have to fit a new wild animal into my freezer...which I hate to cook & eat...YUCKY!!

Three Years Today!!

It is our 3 year wedding anniversary today. Man, those 3 years went fast. When Trent was on his mission, those 2 years felt like they would never end. Now we have been happily married and have our fun Evelyn. Time flies when your having fun I guess. I am so blessed to have married Trent and be so in love every day. Thanks for all you put up with me honey. Your a great father and husband to Evelyn & I. Here is to 3 great years, & many many more to come.
Today to celebrate Trent's sister Taryn watched Evelyn while we went shopping at DI for some random things. Basically, I have been wanting to go to the huge one in Provo & see if I could find anything useful. Well, I did. We found these 4 gadgets. 1)This very vintage looking stool for future photo shoots. I am always looking for interesting props like this. $2. Can't wait to try it out 2)This Baby Patty old vintage looking doll. We think it is pretty old. Her eyes open & close, & she has a bottle that fits into her mouth. Never opened & we thought Evelyn would love it. She does as you can see;)$3 3)This basket, I always need extra storage for toys and household things, $2. 4)This really cute bag, I always need more large diaper like bags..$2. It was lots of fun snooping around in JUNK. After that we went to Los Hermanos for some yummy Mexican food. I got delicious Halibut tacos & Trent got some chili thing, he always ate on his mission. He got me hooked on this cinnamon rice drink called Horchata, so good. I love to get fish when we go out. Which is never because it is impossible to with Evelyn. She refuses to sit in a chair, doesn't let us eat, & wants to run all over everywhere. So, it was a real treat tonight to actually sit back & enjoy our meal. Thanks for a great night Trent, I love you so much:)

3 Items Worth Buying:)

I am very happy with all of these products and I will tell you why: I will start with the Oxyclean Versatile Cleaner....so I was at Costco and found this. I have always wanted to try it with my laundry. But, guess what there is so many useful ways to clean with this product. It took out spots on my carpet, cleaned my nasty tub, you need to clean something use this! The smell is mild & it really is tough on anything. Next, the H2O Turbo Vacuum Cleaner. I saw a commercial for this & have always wanted one. Our old vacuum wasn't holding up well, and I was ready for a change. I found this brand new one on Ebay for a killer deal. So, Trent let me get it. This one is so AMAZING...You use water to trap all that you are sucking up. You can control the suction on it, so you can vacuum delicate things or heavy duty. Basically nothing will hurt it. Today I sucked up a penny, unlike other vacuums that get ruined when you do that. It also is great for the air you breath cause you don't deal with any filters or bags. Ok now I am sounding like their commercial. Check it out, & I would recommend this to anyone. It is totally going to change the way I clean now. Next, is this cute Cloud B twilight ladybug. I have always wanted one of these for Evelyn & was able to get one. You turn it on when your child is going to sleep, it displays stars & the moon all over their ceiling (in 3 different colors). It even has constellations for them to find with you. Evelyn loves it and it calms her down when I lay her back down in her crib in night wakings...or when she goes to bed. She points to the stars and its a great distraction for me to slip back out of her room. If you have a child this is a fantastic product for them.
*I just thought I would share this info with all you readers. Thanks for always reading my blog XOXO:)

For The Beauty Of The Earth...

I took these in Springville Canyon. I am so grateful for the beauty our Heavenly Father has bestowed upon us. We live around such beauty. I love being able to photography in northern Utah. Can you please cast a vote about which one you like the best & why!! I am going to send one into a nature photo contest. And need some more opinions. Thanks, and by the way that thing is a caterpillar. Crazy huh??

FLOWER PICKER...

Evelyn has a new hobby. She loves to pick flowers...mostly the dead dandelions with the seeds you blow off. She does this as she walks down our street. As she passes each house, she doesn't mind helping them out by picking all of these. Of course she isn't really helping out when she lets all of the seeds blow off all over the lawns. We just wanted to get out today, so we packed up and drove to Springville canyon. Once Evelyn saw the first dandelion she was off. And did that for the next hour. She is really fun to watch because she picks them with her left hand & hands them to her right. She also mostly eats with her left, so she could be a lefty.

FAMILY GET TOGETHER:)

We got to see all of my brothers and sisters (& my parents) this weekend for my neice Ella's baby blessing. That doesn't happen very often, so its a real treat when we can all be together. It was so fun & we had a blast. Good food & good conversations:)For those who didn't know Kendra is expecting in March, so excited for her & Sterling. Everyone is staying busy with school, work, & kids. Here is a family photo of how big we are growing. I also took some other pics as well. I am so grateful to come from such an amazing family:) Love all you guys!

ELMO LOVE:)

My mom got Evelyn this Elmo's World Movie for her birthday, and she has had lots of love for him ever since. We got her this Elmo off of Ebay, and as you can see...it was a big hit! It's nice and soft for her and quiet for us!! Win/Win:)

Hair Troubles..

Today I had a hard time with coloring my hair. First off, I have to color it 24/7 now cause I get so much greys...that right folks gray hair!! I never thought I would get it so bad this early in life. It started to happen right after I had Evelyn. It seems to be increasing all the time now. Its a real downer for me:( Well, I usually dye my hair from Sally's Beauty supplies. But, I was in Walmart and didn't want to make an extra trip. So, I grabbed this Feria Loreal box. I wanted to go lighter. I like my hair darker..and Trent likes is more of a medium brown. So, I thought what the heck. Well, I went through all the trouble of putting it on my head. And showered rinsed, the works. (not easy or fun to experience on your own). I looked in them mirror...the result....my same dark hair with orange/red tips...pretty ugly. Uh, I wasted $10, smelling crappy fumes...while killing brain cells for nothing. So, when Evelyn got up from her nap. I went and got the normal Sally's color I always get and it fixed it. Ahhh....so annoying. I think this happens to all of us. We see the box, the beautiful girl and think: Well, if I get this color I can look as pretty as her..then comes the disappointment. They totally know what will make it sell. Needless to say I am now back to my boring dark brown/black color for now.
