So, as of right now I am almost 37 weeks, off of bed rest and can get around like normal. And it feels great. I am so grateful I was able to keep this little guy inside of me this whole time. If he decides to come now everything should be fine.
My stomach is getting huge and I don't know how it can stretch any more. I am pretty uncomfortable and having a hard time sleeping, but would take that over having a preemie baby in the NICU. Speaking of hospitals, We got our bill from my recent stay and YIKES....so high. Thank goodness for insurance though. We have met our deductible and will be ok for my next visit to have this little Hudson. I am getting so anxious to meet him, but nervous to go through it all again. A C-section and all. My doctors are saying I can try a VBac but I don't feel like that is the best thing for me and my body. From my previous history, and what not.
I have finally been getting progress done in my home. My Mom and I finished our kitchen cabinets!!! I can't believe they are done. That was super nice of her to help me so much. I don't know what I would do without her. She really is the best!! Look at the difference from the photo.
My baby shower was so amazing, Taryn did the best job decorating, and organizing it. It was stunning and the pictures prove that. I had a great turnout and had so many great friends come. It was perfect for my last shower!! Just a few more things for baby and I am set.
Trent and I are so close to starting our house plans. Just figuring out the last details and trying to round up the money to do so. We have never been this close before and I can't wait to really get the ball rolling. It is gonna be an amazing craftsman style house.
The girls are busier than ever, let me catch you up on them:
Evelyn: Is thriving in school, she is almost done with her math packets for the year and is farther than any kid in her class. She loves to be an acrobat on the straight bar and monkey bars at school. And she has fallen a few times and it freaks me out. Now she has Lyla doing it as well. haha Our girls don't have much fear at all. She is the best big sister to Lyla most of the time. She can eat a ton but doesn't gain an ounce of it, just like I used to be able to do.
Lyla: Is possibly the sweetest girl ever, and always worries about others feelings. The other night Evelyn's tummy hurt and she started to cry because she was worried for her. She said she didn't want Evelyn to be sick. And said she would get her stuff to help her out. She still is talking about that day and how she will always take care of her sister if she is sick. Lyla has to be bribed to drink water every day and eat too. She barely eats most of the time and only wants treats and juice. I don't know what happened with her, but Evelyn has never been like that. haha It is so funny how different kids are from one another. The other day Lyla said I am so happy that everyone on the Earth is nice, and Trent and I had to correct her... they are not and you have to be careful. It scares me the kind of world I am raising my children in. Thank goodness we know what we know because of our LDS faith.
Trent finally started his Mustang and hopefully will be done with it soon. He fired it up last weekend and oh man it fired right up. He was like a little boy with it all, so cute!! I am very proud of him and his accomplishments. He is one smart guy who is going to have one of the coolest cars ever, and I can't wait to go on dates in it.
The other day Trent and I got to see Meet The Mormons at the St. George Temple and it was probably my favorite movie of the year. It was put together so well and showed people a different side to our religion. We also recently took the girls to see the Cinderella movie that just came out, another winner. I love the message that it brings "Have courage, and be kind!!" The best thing we can do in life!!
Well, that is what has been happening with us lately!!

Good News. . .
I am still pregnant and only on partial bed rest now. I still lay around most of the day but, am able to walk around a little bit. It was great news from my doctor. I have started to watch the show The Paradise on Netflix and love it. As well as read the book unbroken. My Mom and Camille still take Lyla on the weekdays which helps me really just be able to relax and sit around. It is hard to keep her entertained all day long. 33 weeks tomorrow, I just keep telling myself to get to make it to 36 weeks then I will be able to get off my meds and do a little more. My baby shower is a week from this Sat.
Yesterday I stayed home from church but could partake of the sacrament thanks to the priesthood coming to my house. Keeping my head held high as much as I can!! Stay in there little Hudson!!

Unplanned Hospital Visit!!
On Monday they checked me one more time to see if my cervix had changed. Trent and I prayed so hard that we could just go home. And we were able to that day. It was so nice to get out of the hospital and get some fresh air and see people again. But, I was on strict bedrest for the weeks ahead. Yesterday I went back up to see my doctor and after looking at everything, he came to the conclusion that I only needed to be on partial bed rest for now. So, I can get up and walk around or get anything I need. Which feels so amazing to be able to do. Today I was able to do a few things for Hudson's room and the girls room. I am still being very careful but at least I am not glued to the couch/bed 24/7. My bottom is flat and completely gone and so numb from just sittin around the last week!!
Oh and Trent was so nice and went and grabbed me this labtop so I don't go insane. Plus we have always wanted to have one. It is funny he went to best buy and got this one shown in the picture for a great price. Then, on the second day in the hospital the screen stopped working on us. It was cheaper cause someone returned it. So he got a brand new HP brand which I like a lot better! It is more sleek and better quality anyways. Plus we have a cover for it as well.
It has helped me stay sane having something to just put right on my lap!!
For now I am looking at my unfinished kitchen cabinets and not caring about getting them done. I have to make it to 36 weeks to know that Hudson will be safe. That is my goal. My baby shower is in a few weeks and that should be really fun!!
Oh also yesterday our neighbor Leon was burning while we were in St. George and it got out of control and came really close to burning our house, trees, and my car. Uhh, it was pretty scary and I am so glad it wasn't worse than it was. I hope that never happens again!! So you can say this last week has been insane and nothing like we expected it to be!!

Thoughts. . .
I have come to the conclusion lately that I am truly blessed in life. As I type this I have a wonderful, loving husband. Two girls with amazing spirits and are so sweet. A boy that will come in 10 weeks. A cozy, warm home, a hobby I love photography, family around us....I can just go on and on. That is all. I did want to write down what the girls have been up to today.

Lately. . .
- Evelyn had a Christmas program at school that was to die for. I don't have photos cause I just did video on my camera! !
- We were so indecisive about our boy's name and we just keep going back to Hudson Todd and I love it more every day. It is the only one we really can agree on and we have liked it for years. .. So why not. I am having fun getting things ready for him too. I can't wait to meet him! !
-I have found a new fav house again. The house plan is s little hard to figure out. But we are anxious to get the process going asap. Before summer hopefully! !

Photography
I am in photography heaven. I was able to get two new lenses for my bday and Christmas this year. When we were staying at Josh's for Thanksgiving this year. My brother in law Sterling told me about a place called Pictureline that lets you try out lenses before buying. Trent took me there and we worked it out. They are not cheap.!! So I had been saving for a while and selling stuff I had. I also sold my old lens and shipped it off to California today. It was a great lens but not for my style of shooting. After lots of research I had decided on two new ones. The Canon 50mm 1.2 and the Canon 135mm. . . Which is my favorite poor of the two. I had the funniest shoot yesterday with Kylee's kids and my new stuff. Well worth every penny for sure. Doing photography fills a hole in my life and makes me so happy. I love doing kids and am focusing on that the most now! They aren't always the easiest subjects to shoot but man it is worth it when I have got the shot!! That happened yesterday many times and I love to see myself improving.
I was also able to score some pretty neat props for newborns from another photographer. Sweet💗
