Back To School. . .

This past week Evelyn headed to full day school. I was happy yet sad she was going to all day. She has Mrs. Eide for a teacher and Trent had her for 1st grade 23 years ago. So, we were pretty happy when Evelyn got her too. She is very nice and I know she will have a great year.
Lyla starts preschool this next Tues/Wed. She only goes for 2 days 10-12. I am so happy she will have an outlet cause she has really been lonely since Evelyn is at full day now. And keeping her entertained all day is pretty brutal.
Trent is fervently working on the Mustang when ever he can. I am encouraging it cause I really want that to get done. Then we can move on to building our house. Yipee for me:) We are going to do a custom house but I know a lot of what I want already!!
I started playing around with Family Search lately and am blown away with how interesting it is to look at family history and where I come from. I love it cause you can see if the family names have been done as well. It is fun to see family names too I love old fashioned names.
We are getting a new Bishop in our ward. Kurt and Audrey Lytle are moving to Seattle, Washington really soon. Everyone in the ward is wondering who the new bishop and councilors will be.
I haven't been shooting much but miss it dearly:) Looking forward to some family sessions in the fall when it is cooler.

Camping and stuff. . .

- We went camping with Trent's family this past weekend and it was so much fun. We went up to Cleve Creek to camp. It was the most beautiful campsite I have ever seen. We also went to Great Basin National Park to see Lehman Caves a guided tour through an amazing cave!! We had the best Rzr ride up the mountain too. Trent and I slept in the trailer we store at our house.
-Lyla is getting ready for preschool she will start Sep. 2nd and go for two days a week. She is growing way too fast.
-Evelyn found out she has Mrs. Eide for school this year. She was Trent's first grade teacher 23 years ago...crazy isn't it? That is who I was hoping she would get though.
-Evelyn and I had lots of fun school shopping a few weeks ago. She thought we had money growing on trees. On the way home I was worried I was gonna run out of gas so I stopped in Mesquite got gas then got back on the road. My tire light came on for my front tire and I kept driving. Then I heard the thumping sound and knew I had a blowout. I called Trent and him and Lyla came to rescue us. It was a cooler day so that was nice. But Trent had the hardest time getting the spare tire off. Finally we were good to go. It is funny the last time I got a blow out it was only Evelyn and I in the car too. Pretty crazy and scary both times.
-Last night I had a funny convo with Lyla: L- mom when will you have a baby?
Me-when Heavenly Father wants to send me one, why do you have want me to have one?
L-cause they are cute...I promise I will share all my toys with him. ( both the girls always talk about having a brother it is so cute, but hard to hear too)

The four Leavitt's. . .

-Trent and I were able to get away for the weekend and it was glorious!! We went to Cafe Rio, saw Captain America 2 (for $4...dollar theater score), stayed at the Comfort Inn in St. George, which was so nice, and then went to Cracker Barrel before coming home. I love Trent and am so grateful to be married to him.
-Evelyn recently likes to write her name Evalin instead of Evelyn, she told Trent and I that she just wants to spell it that way now...silly girl. We told her we choose to spell is a certain way and she will just confuse herself and others doing that. I hope she stops soon. lol.
-Our little Lyla turned four on the 15th of July. This one was really hard for me. I now have a 4 year old and a 6 year old. I can't believe how grown up they are getting. I just signed Lyla up for preschool, and she got a cute little owl backpack she is so excited about. Hard to believe she can go to Kindergarten in a year if I let her. I think this next year will be fun with her.
-I have been pretty busy with editing photos, lots of work and fun too. I have done the most shoots this summer than I ever have. The last family I did was in 113 degree weather...sounds fun:)

What is new...with us. . .

- I have become crippled from editing photos. Yes, it has taken years but I have to stop using a mouse. I found this amazing solution. The Wacom Intuos Pro tablet.

I can't  wait to use it with my workflow. And to be able to move and edit again. Wish me luck I can figure out how it works quickly. lol

-I have a little scare this month with some lumps I found. Yes, the only kind of lumps a woman talks about. Get to go in this week. I found a lump that was caused by me taking Clomid for one month. Hasn't gone away and more have appeared, yay.  Clomid really messed up my skin and caused lots of problems...yay. The irony of infertility is pretty frustrating. Trent and I are convinced my body is falling apart, not even 30!! what the ? 

-Lyla is really coming out of her shell and almost four years old. Where did my baby go? I still try to rock and cuddle her like a baby. Since I do not have one of those. lol Her famous line right now> "You made my feelings sad!" 

-Good thing we are taking our time to build our house cause I have found another house plan I love. For the longest time I wanted a two story but when we went and looked and Chase and Nicole Woods house a bold of lightning struck and now I want a one story and no stairs. I was looking on Pinterest the other day and found the perfect Craftsman one story home. We will be changing the floor plan around a little bit but that is ok. If we can just get our white barn to come down we can get going on that. lol 

-Trent and the girls love to play Nintendo together. Currently they are on the game of Zelda. And oh boy do they love it. I am ok with it since Trent doesn't have a boy to do it with:) 

-Evelyn is in love with her house riding lessons with Makensie Bush and horses in general. I am so happy when she gets so happy and excited about something. She also likes to tell me what to do when I tell her what she doesn't want to hear. lol. Little diva for sure. 

-I have been shooting so much lately and I really love it. Even in the heat it is pretty fun. I love having more time with photography to experiment on. 

-Tomorrow I get to take Evelyn to the dermatologist to find out what some weird lumps are on her leg. I don't know what is going on....thank goodness for doctors. 

-I am getting house hungry and want to start our house soon. SIGH ....

-Look at this fun princess Frozen doll shoot I did. Here are a few of the girls. I can't wait to plaster them all over everything. 

Two Years Ago. . .

This is a photo of my OBGYN and infertility specialist Dr. Chalmer's. I love him and the friendship I have with him. He is a great guy who truly tries to help his patients. I send him emails all the time.

June this year marks 2 years since my miscarriage and going through this journey of infertility I never imagined I would be going through. But that is life ehh? I have been super emotional and to tell you the truth fed up with most of it.
The more I try the more off my body gets to making a baby. I am getting numb to the whole situation and feel so blessed to have my two girls. I am really lucky to be a mother. I love my two girls and they help me to love more and more everyday.
If I have learned anything through this trial it has to be the ability to love more and understand how hard life is for not just me but everyone around me. Heavenly Father is in control not me. He doesn't punish us by giving us trials He wants to see us grow and become more like Him.
Trent and I are becoming more used to the idea we may just be a family of four and that is ok. Or we may have to wait longer to have another baby or it may never come. Life is good and we will carry on:)

Girls Camp . . .

I headed to Girls Camp up at Kolob this week with my ward. I couldn't leave my family for 5 days so I just went up Thurs-Sat. It was pretty dang fun, I don't think I have laughed that hard in a long time.
We had a tire rolling down the hill several times and almost peeing my pants. The girls were so sweet and wonderful, I got to know the leaders better and we all are a hoot together.
I won the push up contest we did. . . They started it a few days before I got there and then challenged me to do it, I accepted and did a whopping 63!! I was pretty pumped since I even beat a Priesthood leader we had. ha ha
I really thought about and missed Nicole May since the last time I was in Kolob she was there with her beautiful smile and making us all laugh. I could feel her there with me.
I helped belay for rock climbing and that was pretty scary, and hard to follow. Then I rock climbed the tallest wall they had!! It was hard I slipped and fell off and flew to the side so I didn't really know how to get back on. but I did. And made it to the top. So, dang cool. I also went repelling and remembered that I like climbing better. lol.
Testimony meeting was great and then we were ready to get home...my favorite year at camp so far!!

Lately:

1) Paid off our 2007 Yukon Denali. Feels so good. Of course we have had to replace the windshield and have had a side piece come off. It is like the car is mocking us! We sacrificed stuff to pay large amounts off. But it worked out in our favor and we got it done a lot faster.
2) We headed down to AZ the week after Ty got home to see Kylee's baby Penny get blessed. And see great Grandma Leslie and great Grandpa Ron. The trip seemed ok until we missed a turn off and but quickly turned around again. Then Trent and I were just saying how lucky we were that our kids never got car sick. Pretty soon after that Lyla started coughing and puked everywhere.. Trent started catching it in his hands (braver than me) while I jerked the car off the side of the road. It was real mess, and made the car smell lovely. I slept horrible the 2 nights we were there too. But there were good parts about the trip. Trent and I decided we could live I Surprise AZ. It is really nice there. My Grandma wasn't feeling great so we didn't get a chance to visit her at her house. Just at Kylee's on Sunday. Kylee had a bday party for Maddox at a park and it was scorching hot!! But we still managed to have a good time. We also got to visit with our good friends Chase and Nicole Woods. They live close to Surprise. They have amazing house and pool. It made me rethink our house in the future.
We have been having so much fun with Ty home. He just left for EFY for 7 weeks.
I am hiding out in my room right now. Evelyn refused to try what I made for dinner and has been throwing a fit about it for the last 2 hours. Hanging all over me...so I took a time out for myself while she screamed and pounded on my bedroom door. Yep...fun stuff.
I am heading to girls camp this week for a few days, I am excited it should be lots of fun.
Evelyn graduated from kindergarten this past week. And we went and watched the cutest performance ever!! Love her so much...when she isn't throwing a fit for hours on end. Lol I will be sad for full time school next year though!
