Two Month B-Day!!

Lyla is now 2 months old...where did those two months go? Here are her stats: Weight 12 lbs. 3 oz. 84th percentile. Height 23 3/4 inches 91st percentile. She is growing super good. She was a trooper with her 2 month shots as well:) Things I love about Lyla are: 1)She always loves to grab my fingers and lace her fingers while nursing, she is such a sweetie. 2)She has the most cuddly little head. 3)She is cooing and smiling constantly. 4)I love to play with her long Daddy like feet, they are so much soft and cute. 5)She has been rolling over since she hit one month. Is so strong and loves to hold her head up. 6)She stands while you balance her. 7)Kissing her chubby little cheeks. 8)When she sucks on her left fist, when she is hungry or bored.

Lyla's Blessing Day

Last Sunday we blessed our Lyla Jane. It was a wonderful way to start off the month. Trent did an amazing job and I am so grateful for a husband that holds the priesthood and stays worthy to do so. My mom made her ADORABLE DRESS. She bought these little booties for Evelyn once at DI they had never been used, and they were a cream color. So I had my mom make the dress to match the booties. My mother is so talented when it comes to sewing. It was beautiful and so stunning on Lyla. I found this perfect flower headband to go with it. I only wish she could have worn the dress longer. We had lots of family come up, it was great. I was able to see all of my brothers & sisters, (except for Elliah who is really sick from her pregnancy:( missed u sis). Trent had lots of family here as well. And my Aunt Suzy was able to make it, along with my awesome friend Chelsea:)

PAJAMA FUN!!

Evelyn and Lyla love watching Baby Einstein together. This was taken a few days ago. They are both so into it!! Also we recently got them new PJ's and as you can see Evelyn was really excited about hers!! Except when we had to change her in the middle of the night cause she was too sweaty in them. It will be cool enough in a few months. Here is her with her stuffed elephant Rosebud, she loves her and can't sleep without her. I love giving both of them cuddles & kisses in their nice, soft jammies!!

L A T E L Y

Fun photos of the girls lately. We went down to Logandale for a week so Trent could work for his dad and get intern hours. My very good friend Amanda brought her kids over to Rod & Camille's house. Estella & Evelyn decited to take a dip in their clothes...we couldn't blame them...IT WAS SO HOT THERE!! This is Evelyn's black eye, from a few days ago. I told her it was bath time and then she yelled don't get me and fell off the couch, hitting her eye on the window seal. It started to change colors right away, thats how I knew it was gonna be black. Lyla is getting to be soo fun. She loves to smile and cooo and is still a very easy going baby. She loves her baths and to roll over too.

Another One Bites The Dust!!

We Have Caught 2 Mice In The Last 3 days...a good thing but also not so good. Because that means we have had lots and could still have more....ick.

Mickey Mouse Club...

Unfortunetly we are not done with our mice problem. It's the Mickey Mouse Club at our house. They appartently think they can run the show. Shortly after we caught our first one, I heard some scratching in the wall of our bedroom. Followed by one running above us in our ceiling. Yep, they have been running everywhere inside the walls and our house. Trent got inside the attic and placed some traps up there. Soon we didn't hear the sound in our walls. So, we thought he got them there. We would rather have them in our wall than in the house. We were wrong again, Trent found more poop in the couch...ugg. So, we went out and bought more sticky mouse traps. Some large and a few small. We put PB on it and it got on there and then ate the PB off, on a few different ones. So yesterday Trent went and bought some snappy traps and some that trap them inside. Last night a mouse ate one off of a snappy one...what the heck?? Then we found out one had been into our shelf with our food. Got into our bag of our patatoes and cereal. U kidding me?? We have no idea how many we have. All we know is we have a big problem with them. We might be calling an exterminator soon.

Mouse Hunt Is Over:)

Ok so no photos for the end result because it was kinda ucky. But, we got him finally. Our friend had a sticky mouse trap that he gave us. He told us to put peanut butter on it...said when they had a mouse they caught it within 5 minutes doing that. So, last night we put it in front of the same vent it crawled into the other day. The morning still no sign of Mr. Mouse!! But this morning Trent decided to put it on the counter so Evelyn couldn't touch it. And BAM he crawled up on there somehow and we went for the PB...translates to we caught him. So crazy that we didn't catch him on the floor..but on the counter. YUCKY!! We are soo relieved that our hunt is over and we can sit on our couch comfortably now.
