What A CRAPPY Day!

I should be in bed now, but I had to journal about this awful day I had. So, Evelyn has been sick this week. It started off with a fever at the beginning of the week. Then, she threw up one night. After she did this I thought she must have caught the flu that her Askeroth cousins had around Easter. But, she only threw up one time...so maybe she didn't have it. The next day she had a fever. The next 2 days she has had the runs and today she was just beside her cute little self. She wouldn't eat, I got her to drink but she was not urinating at all. So, I got worried. Today was the last day she was covered by Utah Medicaid. Here I am living in a small down again where there are no close doctors. I heard about the Mesa View quick care place in Mesquite. After not being able to help Evelyn feel better. I knew we had to take her somewhere. My dad even suggested to take her, he isn't a huge doctor person. Neither am I unless it's really needed. Plus we currently have no health insurance right now. My wonderful mom got into the car with me and the girls and we drove to Mesquite. I had not gotten ready for the day at this point. No Makeup....looked like well not good...but I had to get over there before they closed. We found the quick care place, our doctor was Brian Lefler, his dad taught at the high school for a while and we knew his family. He was super nice.
I had been having my own problems, well I have a yeast infection...fun fun. And Evelyn has a UTI....Lovely right. Poor Evelyn I have never seen her sooo beside herself. Not knowing how to deal with the pain and all. She held her bladder all day in fear of the pain she would have while she was going.
After $360 was paid to the doctors office....YIKES guess thats life. We took our prescriptions and headed to Smith's to the pharmacy....only to find they were closed. So, I called Trent to see when Walmart's closed...seven. It was now 6:30 we race over there. I had a young lady the prescription papers while my mom stays in the car with the girls. (It was past Lyla's bedtime and Evelyn wouldn't stop crying). I told the girl I had no insurance, she says "one of these costs $288...say what?? She called the Lefler doctor and he said he had no idea it was that much, its a new drug...Then the girl says I noticed you have Utah Medicaid, do you have your card? I ran out to the car to get it...only to find my mom was having to drive the girls around Walmart's parking lot. and the girls were SCREAMING....I head back inside. It took them forever to get them to me. I was like "I have screaming kids in the car". N-E ways My Mom is SO AMAZING AND SO HELPFUL. I would have died and probably broke down and cried myself if it hadn't been for her. I paid another $30 for prescriptions. To some it all up this day really STUNK! Wish us luck on getting over our Yeast & UTI drauma....sheez. It's days like this I think I cannot make it another day being a parent ya know.

The Weekly Ten (Past Week and 1/2)

1)Trent Graduated from BYU in the Construction Management Program and a minor in Business Management. I am so very proud of all of his hard work, these past 4 years. He has never taken a semester off from school. Way to go honey, we love you much! He thinks its pretty cool to be done.
2)I had the most stressful week of my life during our last week in Provo, trying to pack up the whole house myself cause Trent was so busy finishing up school. Glad the girls and I made it through in one piece!
3)Evelyn had been picking her nose one day which was unusual cause she doesn't ever do that. It was bleeding a little bit too. I didn't think much about it. Until she tilted her head up while crying & had something blue in her nose. After Trent plugged one nostril and made her blow through the other, low and behold it was a Polly Pocket like shoe from her new Rapuzel doll. Poor thing. We felt bad...she agreed to never put another one up there....ha ha.
4)Ate frozen yogurt night with great friends from my ward. Best place ever....called Yogurtland in Orem...I am craving the pistachio & coconut flavors right now..YUM
5)AFTER FOUR YEARS WE MOVED FROM PROVO UT BACK TO MOAPA VALLEY...OUR HOMETOWN.
6)Had a wonderful Easter Sunday in our new ward. Have to say it feels weird being back in a family ward after a married student ward. But, we are very happy to become a part of the Overton 4th Ward. Finished the day off with dinner at my moms. My sister Elliah and brother Jacob were there with their families. Very yummy dinner.
6)I told Trent that as soon as we got to our new place with new carpet that I would LICK it. And LICKED IT I DID. ha ha. I love love it. We love laying on it, Lyla adores crawling on it. Evelyn keeps saying its really soft.
7)Our new place looks great new carpet, new paint, new floor in the kitchen and the bathroom, nice big garage. The unfinished part of the house is gonna give us a lot more room.
8)Have been living out of boxes all week. Ugg I hate not being able to find something when I need it. We have made a lot of progress since Sunday though.
9)Have been wearing shorts and sandals. Man it feels good.
10)Have been terrified about all the bugs, and spiders here. Have never killed so many. Had our good friend spray for us today. I have got to be braver when it comes to killing big spiders....sick. Wish me luck.

Packing Packing & More Packing...

Life lately has consisted of packing many plethora of boxes. We have already taken down two loads of boxes to our new place. Have tons packed downstairs and well, I am just filling more and more boxes. How did we ever end up with so much stuff? And that has been after I made some DI trips. We have never moved with kiddos before so this should be a wild ride. Ir really does have effects on kids. Evelyn has been so not nice to us or Lyla lately. It's the worst packing up her room and toys. Although she is very excited to move. She is too little to fully understand the concept.
Packing for this move has made added some stress to my life. Can't wait till we are settled in our new place. It has been a weird week getting together with all of my friends from the ward & saying goodbye. I will miss seeing them for sure.
Well, now onto Trent's graduation and then the big move wish us luck?

Texas Road House Double Date

We wanted to use up our Texas road house gift card and wanted to have some friends join us. I invited my good friend Amy and her hubby Spencer. They have been in our ward and are fabulous people. They move back to Mesa, AZ the week after we move. He just finished law at BYU. They also have an adorable boy named Hayden who Evelyn loves to play with. He is the only boy she really willingly plays with and has a blast. It was a great evening out with no kiddos to interrupt the conversation....ha ha. We will miss you guys and all our other friends from the BYU Married Student 5th ward.

Outdoor Fun!!

We had a fun day outside on a blanket with the girls and Trent busy working on his Mustang. I thought this was a really cool shot with the sparks flying. These ones of Evelyn make her look so old and grown up. And I can't stop kissing my little Lyla. Not much more time hanging out up here in Provo. Gonna miss these mountains and the park lots.

Clark County Fair

This is the fair that our home town puts on every year. Trent hadn't been for 6 years. It had been 5 for me. The girls had never been. We had to head down to take some stuff down and make more decisions on our house. IT WAS PRETTY COLD AND MISERABLY WINDY. Lyla didn't have much fun but Evelyn did. She even road the faris wheel and loved it. We were only there for a few hours cause it just wasn't worth it to me. We saw some friendly faces though. I think it was worth the little time we spent there.

The Weekly Ten :D ( Past 2 Weeks Combined)

1)Went on date to Cafe Rio, and had frozen yogurt afterwards. I know some peeps think Cost Vida or Bajio beat out Cafe Rio. But, I think nobody tops them...they have got it down.
2)Went & saw my friend Alexis's new baby boy. And Evelyn got to play with Amiah. They had a blast and were so cute together. We had a lovely visit.
3)The wonderful Haley Leavitt was kind enough to drive my Saturn down to NV for me one weekend. Now I don't have to drive it by myself the day we move. Thanks again Haley I totally own you for that one!!
4)Taught a RS lesson on Service and I have to say I have never felt so comfortable teaching. It was great and the spirit was very strong.
5)Went to the BYU student health center to have some moles looked at. Trent got 3 removed on his neck. I make them bleed every time I shave his neck while cutting his hair. He is much happier. The doctor we saw was Dr. Greg Nielson that used to live in Logandale, NV. The last time I went to see him in NV I had cut my finger open from working in a sand which shop. He gave me about 5 stitches...I almost passed out.
6)Went to the temple with Trent tonight. First time in like a year. We did sealings and it was lovely. We did some work for someone who was born the year 923...crazy. The sealer said he had done some from B.C. before. What?? Crazy. I was a little embarrassed of how wrinkled my temple dress was. It needs a little TLC and washing. The temple really is the happiest place on earth. Even better than Disneyland.
7)Lyla took her first step today, holy smokes this girl is moving fast. Too fast. I can't keep up with her and am not ready to have her walk. Hopefully it will not start tomorrow or something. She is so stinking adorable.
8)Bought the movie Tangled and oh how we love love to watch it. Every day. Evelyn knows all the words to everything. I have to say the Princess phase is pretty fun to get into.
9)I have realized that I have been buying size 7 shoe when I really wear a size 6. I have bought some new shoes recently and well, a six really fits. Don't know what I was thinking the past what 10 years. I mean I might still wear some 7's since all shoes fit different for the most part. But 6 is my true fit. ha ha.
10)Got a new water heater installed today and didn't have water for most of the day. That was a little tough. Lyla got a cold bath and we had lots of potty and such to flush down a toilet with a little Evelyn.
