Evelyn's First Photo Shoot With Mommy:)

Grammy helped me set up Evelyn for her first photo shoot. It was tricky..even though I spent many months photographing infants at Kiddie Kandids. Somehow is seemed very difficult to do my own child. I had to imprivize on the equiptment as well. I couldn't believe I was finally able to take photos of my child. These are just a few of them. I love her chubby cheeks.

Born Wed. May 21st At 3:41 PM Weight 7 lbs. 2 oz. and 20 in. long

My First Bath:)

I couldn't wait to give Evelyn her first bath. She loved getting her head cleaned but didn't feel the same once we washed her body. I love the photo of her in the pink hooded towel. Cutest Little Face. It was so fun to snuggle her when she got on her baby lotion and dressed for her first night at home.

Our Hospital Adventure

Me waiting for baby to come...loved the epidural!! Couldn't have done it without that. Highly recommend it to everyone.

She Has Arrived!!

Wed. May 21st I headed to the hospital around 6:30 am to get induced. Long story short. After dialating completely and pushing for an hour...the doctor said my pelvis was to small to have her and she was turned strange. He sugessted I have a c-section. During the c-section the doctor said I could have pushed for ten hours and it wouldn't have made her come, she was turned the wrong way. She was born at 3:41 pm and the c-section went great. It was a crazy adveture but we are so happy to finally have her in our lives:)

The Difference...

I was going through my pictures of pregnancy and found the first month of my pregnancy and the last month of my pregnancy. Wow, what a change...It's amazing what your body will do for a baby. I miss my pre-pregnancy body pretty bad. Hope I can get it back one day. Can't wait to wear normal clothes as well.
