Fall Family Pics 2010

I set up my camera and tripod while Trent's sister Taryn took these of us all together. I took the ones of the girls. It was tough this year to even want to be in the photos. I am not in shape, therefore I don't feel like I even look like that girl named Tara right now. But, I know I will like to look back on this time someday. Plus its our last Fall season in Provo and I just admire the leaves soo much. Endless choices for taking photos. Ahh the colors oh sooo pretty.

Happy 3 Month B-Day Lyla Dear:)

Her Latest:
-she loves to talk, coo, and smile for us
-we think she is teething already. won't stop drolling and sucking on her hands
-has a winner bald spot in the back
-rolls over the instant you put her on her tummy
-enjoys taking a bath and going down for the night
-mommy finally has her sleep pattern figured out...thanks sleepsense.net you make sleep training a walk in the park:)
-Evelyn is great entertainment for her all day long
-stains at least one outfit from a blowout every day. i can't keep up anymore with all this laundry...ha ha.
-she is the easiest, most chill baby ever...so nice to have.

IT'S PINKALICIOUS......

OK SO MY WONDERFUL FRIEND SHELSIE EMAILED ME ABOUT THIS PINK CHAIR SHE HAD. SHE SAID SHE THOUGHT I MIGHT WANT IT TO TAKE PHOTOS WITH, SHE HAD 2 OF THEM. UM...YES, SO I GAVE HER A RING A DING DING AND FOUND OUT THAT SOME OF HER OTHER PHOTOGRAPHER FRIENDS WERE INTERESTED AS WELL. SHE WAS SO NICE AND SAVED ONE FOR ME. I WAS SO HAPPY, AND CAN'T WAIT TO USE IT OUTSIDE FOR A PHOTO SHOOT. FOR THE TIME BEING IT IS IN LYLA'S ROOM BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY PLACE WE HAVE FOR IT. PLUS IT LOOKS MARVELOUS!! EVELYN LOVES TO READ HER PINKALICIOUS BOOK IN IT. HOW FITTING TO READ THAT BOOK WHILE SITTING IN THIS...IT IS VERY FUN TO HAVE. OH AND A SIDE NOTE. IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW EVER WANTS TO GET RID OF ANY TYPE OF CHAIR PLEASE LET ME KNOW I AM ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR MORE CHAIRS FOR PROPS.

Confessions Of A Mommy With A 2 Month & 2 Year Old:

-I love the smell of Pampers Swaddler Diapers...wish I could burn a candle to burn of that scent.
-Desitin Rapid Relief Creamy Diaper Rash Cream makes an excellent face mask. Saw it on the show the doctors and wanted to try it....BABY BOTTOM SOFT SKIN. 10 minutes and wipe off with dry towel:)
-I am going sooo bald from nursing that it almost makes me want to do formula. Even though I know I could never stop for the benefit of myself. It really is sweet and I forget about my balding problems every time I look down while nursing. Ahhh nothing better than when Lyla is looking up at me. Melts my heart!!
-I own no attractive clothing right now....well that I can fit into at least. And of coarse no money to go buy any either....
-My stomach couldn't be any flabbier or have more stretch marks. Hope it can because less jello-like in the future.
-I loath C-sections and that I can only have them. Sometimes I think there is no way I can do another one. But, I know in my heart that Trent and I don't have our complete family yet:)
-Every morning I put a movie on for Evelyn, get Lyla back to sleep and crawl back into my bed....yep I am not the best mommy. But, I am soo exhausted....the girls don't seem to mind. I do make sure there is nothing that Evelyn could hurt herself with also I make sure she can open my door and get me anytime she needs me.
-I also get to enjoy finding more and more grey hairs that sprout up daily....lovely.
-Why oh why does your butt have to get soo flat during pregnancy?? I used to have a good tushy now nada.
-I have melt downs sometimes wondering how I can make it through another day. Parenting is oh sooo tough, but once I find inner peace I am ok. And realize this is what I am made to do.
-I can't believe how dramatic girls are....fun teenage years coming up.

4 Years Ago...

Happy 4th Anniversary to Trent and I. September 16th 2006 we made the best decision of our lives...by getting hitched in the St. George temple. We went to dinner Wed. night because Thurs. Trent had to work. We choose Applebees and brought the girls. Cause I can't leave Lyla yet. I have to be honest. I was NOT impressed with the food or the service there. Our waiter was nice, but they put us where it was really crowded and it was hard to have a car seat sticking out. Every time waiters would squeeze by us, I feared they would drop one of their platters on Lyla's head as she was sitting in her seat. Also the manager would NOT leave us alone to eat. He kept asking how the food tasted and trying to talk to Evelyn. She was scared of him I think. I wanted to scream "GET OUT OF MY FACE AND LET ME EAT, THE FOOD IS AWFUL BY THE WAY". But didn't say that. Also I had to nurse Lyla in my booth. Don't worry I covered up very well. I am NOT one of those moms. Then we noticed Lyla was wet and pulled her pants down to discover we had a BLOWOUT situation and a bad one. First one yet of Lyla's career. Then, Trent let me run into Walmart cause we needed some food for nourishment. So, I left all of them in the car and tried to hurry as fast as I could. Trent ended up trying to call me twice to which I didn't hear my phone. He couldn't calm Lyla down so he drove clear across town, then came back for me. You know how its hard to not spend lots of time in Walmart? Also it was PACKED from wall to wall. We had a semi stressful night. Thurs. (actual anniversary) was much more chill. Trent went to class and came home with six yellow roses...gosh that was sweet of him. I love you Trent thanks for 4 Wonderful Years!!
