the past little while....

1) Trent and I actually got on a date....yes a date. It was spontaneous and exciting and well so much fun. We got Mekensie Bush from our ward, the girls new fav sitter and took off to Mesquite. We went to eat at the new Italian restaurant there. I was blown away by the amazing food, look, and service. Trent and I sat at a small table, I kinda felt like I was in a movie. Stepping up out to eating in Mesquite for sure. Then we ran to Walmart and parked in a parking lot and well, I wish I could say made out...maybe in the old days. But, we got an icecream and laughed at people walking by. We do however miss parking on BYU campus in Provo and being fully entertained by the students walking around there. Best. Entertainment. Ever!! Sometimes we miss Provo, not really as much as we thought we would. lol. We just know that we are really home now.
2) Trent send in his fourwheeler carb. got lost in the mail. Someone from the place he sent it too called him and took pics of the box. At first he thought someone stole it, but came to the conclusion that it fell out of a ripped box. N-E ways he was pretty bummed and had to order a new one. Shucks....
3) I am now addicted to Downton Abbey oh my gosh. What a show....minus a few parts in 2 episodes they could have easily left out, should have left out. I watched 3 seasons in 2 weeks.  I know it is shameful but I had to see all of them and get it out of my system and well, move on with my life. Until next season that is. lol.
4) Trent and I ordered us some new sofas.....OH BOY, never in my life did I think this day would come. We put our tax return to good use this year. Black, leather couched who have never been sat on anyone before are arriving new in their boxes tomorrow at our house. Happy freakin day!! We got them through one of Pilates friend's hubby. He sells furniture, he knows a lot and well, he got us an amazing deal. Goodbye crappy feather couch I have hated for a long long time now. Since we got it really. So much fluffing, having to de-feather the cushions. Having to vacuum you out no more. Onto new and better things:)
5) I got a steam cleaner for my carpet off of Amazon. Worth every penny that one. It has changed the look of my carpets in one day. You see we have light carpets and well they get really dirty, and now they are not so dirty.
6) Lyla has become a little more interested in potty training but, she still has only gone potty once at least the pullups will make her sit on the toilet. progress slowly, but surely.
7) Evelyn has been very busy and also gets bored easily. She loves primary and the songs, ballet/tap class, and preschool. I love her thirst for life in general. How can she be going to kindergarten next year......makes me sad/happy.
8) I was once again sick this week. I know nothing new. This week I got the flu....but managed to keep myself from not throwing up from taking some natural drops called stomach comfort and I love that stuff.
9) Feb. has been a tough month...I have to bring it up once again. The 3rd baby not being here. The song that I listen to that gets me through it is: Katherine Nelson -What's Mine Is Yours, it really speaks to me. Anyone who has had a miscarriage or lost a child needs to hear it. I can on the bright side look at how much I have accomplished in other aspects of my life. Such as really grown as a photographer and getting my name more out there. And building up my Pilates class to where I have always wanted it to be. Really getting close with my two girls and being able to give a lot of attention to them. I feel Evelyn got a little jipped because I have had lots of time with Lyla as the baby.
10) The decorations in my house are blah blah blah. And I am sick sick sick of them. I have lots of new plans for my family/living/kitchen room. My lovely sister Kylee is going to help me decorate. Hooray.

**I have been horrible with posting photos. I usually just do Instagram and post to facebook. So lame of me, being a photographer and all. So here are a few.

Weekly TEn

1) I have been sick again, yes s-i-c-k. I never get this sick in a year. It is going around bad around this valley and everyone has been down for weeks. Yuck, the worst part is you think your better and then it hits you again.
2) Last week there were two days that made me think. One, was Feb. 3rd, which is the day one of my best friends ever Nicole May passes away, 11 years ago. And it was on a Sunday again. It just took me back to that day and being in Young Woman's and Bishop telling us the news and us all falling off of our chairs bawling. Nicole I hope you know how much you were loved and are still loved. Evelyn drew you a photo of you, me, and Jesus, we framed it and put it at your grave. Evelyn even feels a love for you. She is always asking about Micole, so sweet. I have been explaining the plan of salvation to her.
Two days after on the 5th I was reminded that I was due with my 3rd baby....and alas I have no baby. The crazy part was the actual day wasn't too bad. I think I was numbed from the build up to the day. This trial has changed me for the better.
3) I ordered me the Ninja Kitchen System, my mom has one and I loved it. It is great for quick smoothies, yum. Money well spent.
4) I ordered a new Zella Gym Bag and new reversible Zella capris as well. I am becoming a huge Zella fan I'm afraid, which puts a dent in your wallet:).
5) I ordered a Hoover steam vac that I am stoked about, our carpets are not what they were when we moved in.
6) I have been on the hunt for a new sofa, and loveseat, it is a hard decision. Hope Trent and I can get some this week. I am ready to burn our current ones.
7) I added a fourth class for Pilates last week and am very happy I did. It makes me know I get another workout in for the week. I had a lot of peeps requesting it. I finally feel like my Pilates class is where I want it to be. I love the turnout I get and how much people love it. I also love changing lives, and being a part of the community!!
8) I am now addicted to Downton Abbey....oh man it is good. Minus episode one season one....why do they throw nasty stuff in the first episode uhh hate hate. I just finished the first season on Netflix and now I have no way of watching the second season. My mom has it but only on blue ray, I need a blue ray player.
9) Evelyn is enjoying ballet/tap so much. She had an accident last week though, but the teacher blamed it on herself. She fogot Evelyn needed to go. poor thing. She is also getting so good with her letters and numbers. She is trying to read words too. Awesome I love the preschool I take her too. She will be so ready for kindergarten. She gave a talk in church and volunteered to say the closing prayer. I missed both of them from being sick. But I am so proud of her. She is a great big sister to Lyla. They are great friends.
10) Lyla is talking so much. She says "YOu see that?", "tankyou mom". She likes to play in her bed at night now. And still refuses to sit on the potty or think about potty training. oh well, when she is ready.

Weekly Ten For This Leavitt Household....

1)Satan tells us to do bad things.....Evelyn's new song she made up...ha ha
2)We had the craziest mouse hunt this week. Thurs. I took Evelyn to her first ballet class, more on that later. I took Lyla home to be with Trent so I could go back and get Evelyn and put a show on for Lyla to watch. I sat on the couch by Lyla Trent was standing by us. I see something out of the corner of my eye....MOUSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! It runs under our TV to our couch, back to our tv, to our refrigerator, down the hall to the exercise room, to our bedroom. Trent and I are on our hands and knees trying to catch/smash the darn thing. Of which I refused to do...stomp on it....eeewww. So we corner it into our closet. I called my neighbor Sandy Thomas she has a cat and my parents claim that if you bring a cat into a mouse filled house they kill it fast. However her cat refused to come into our house not knowing us. I wasn't too upset because I knew bringing a cat in would cause allergies. Trent is looking at it with the flashlight and tells me to find a bb gun. I call my neighbors the Schouten's amd book I mean....sprint over there. Grab some guns and sprint back. My mom was nice enough to go pick up Evelyn from ballet for me. Trent shoots the darn thing and injures it. It runs back and forth through the back of the closet. and back where Trent can take another shot. Under my shoe rack. eeewww. He said it was licking it's wound. Then it runs again where we can see it and disapears. Yuck the next part is gross....It was hiding in my hanging clothes....yucky isn't it. I left Trent to hunt down the injured mouse while tending to the kiddos. He said he was hitting the clothes with a yardstick in frustration, and he hit it so hard with the clothes that the stick broke. That is when the mouse fell down and he then hit it with the flashlight and then stomped on it. I was happy to be out of the room at this point. He yelled for me and said. "Tara, I got him". I need you to get me something to hit him with in case he is still alive. So I handed hime a metal tin and shut the door. He is dead, now I need something to clean up the blood spots.....ewwwwwww. And the fact that he was in my clothes was so sick to me. Time to wash them now. That mouse gave me such an adreneline rush that night...the most I have had in a while.
3)On my way our the door Friday Evelyn was walking close behind me and I didn't see her. I hit her with the door right smack in the face giving her a bloody lip and I felt very crappy. Poor thing. I think she forgave me....
4)Trent fixed up his families old Firebird that his sister got in a wreck with. He had been trying to find a buyer and we finally found one. My Daddy, him and my mom want a car that my dad can drive to and from work. Nothing special. It is just hard having one car ya know. We are so happy they want it.
5)Evelyn enjoyed her first ever ballet/tap class. Taught by Erin Cornwall, I was a little hesitant to start her in something at this age. But, I am glad I did now, she loves it so much. I can't wait to go back this Sat. Erin is a great teacher and awesome with kids. Plus she gets to do it with her best friend Macy Terril.
6)My Pilates class has taken off this week and I have had so many new people. What a fun week. I love when a newbie loves it and gets a great workout. Oh how I love to be a fitness instructor.
7)Trent is still patiently waiting for his Mustang to get painted and they are taking their dandy time. Poor guy;( It is going to be so awesome when it gets finished.
8)I did a very fun photo shoot today at the Old Simplot building and it was lots of fun. 3 kids and I am having a blast editing them. I am also getting a lot of props now. I am addicted to props.
9)Lyla, Evelyn, and I all got little colds this week. It was not very fun. But luckily they are pretty mild ones. Trent never gets sick.
10)This morning Trent told me that he has lost 8 lbs in 2 weeks. Jusr from eating less and feeding himself more healthy options. I am one proud wifey;) Now he wants to get in our exercise room and bulk up again;)

Confession Time. . . .A little negative sorry....

1) Confession....I am lazy and don't take the time to blog. I feel like no one reads my blog....so ya. Well, I have to keep telling myself my posts are for my kids in the future.
2) Confession...I feel like I don't measure up sometimes...well a lot. As a mother/wife/homemaker/. Being a mom is well hard. But that is life. I can't keep up on anything laundry, dishes, dusting...if your a mom I know I am just telling you stuff you already know.
3) Confession....DEATH scares me!!Two people from our valley died this week, they were both male. Really sad for their families. Life is short. Sometimes I tell myself to live differently ya know more in the moment of life. Hope to accomplish this more often:)
4) Confession....EVERYTHING is bothering me in my house lately, the bland colors of my front room, my pathetic couch I HATE to sit on. I need to paint the girls closets. Tax returns please come soon so I can throw my sectional out the window. My popcorn ceiling...oh boy how I hate it. Trying to decide if I should just man up and remove it myself or hire someone, or try to cover it up with some boards....uhh I just can't leave it. Must. change. soon!!
5) Confession....I wish more people were willing to try out my Pilates class. I know it is not as fun as Zumba and you work hard but it can still be fun. I am grateful for all who come and absolutely love it. That is all.
Confession....I wish I could do more photography jobs. I really love it too. I have a photography love, and a Pilates love and enjoy both so much. But can't seem to give up either one.
Confession...I want a BABY....a baby is on my mind. Particularly a BOY, and name him Hudson Todd Leavitt. I dream about him. Hudson is getting more and more popular ya know. And when I hear someone who I know name their boy that it well breaks my heart. Somehow I feel a little boy would round out our family nicely!**But, if I had another girl I would know it was my Heavenly Fathers plan too.  It is hard not being pregnant when I am so close to when I was due with my 3rd baby. Feb. 5th is going to be here fast and it will be a very bitter sweet day for me. I know that having a 3rd will change my life and ruin my very toned body and make me depressed about my body for months and force me to stop teaching Pilates for some time.  And while I feel scared to go through it all again....I crave it so badly as well. It is time, it was time last June when I lost my baby so it really is now more than ever. I feel like I have had a great journey through it all and really respect all those woman who have miscarriages and try and try month after month to get prego with no luck. I can tell you when I am prego again I won't be telling for a while. So, if I every look bloated or prego please don't ask. I will tell when I am ready :) Ahh feels better to blog out my feelings. I am never this negative. Just feels good to get out my feelings ya know.
6) Confession... Evelyn and I clash big time lately. She loves talking back and well I don't love her doing it. I have to watch myself and not really lose it . But, I can't believe some of the stuff she says sometimes. She never ever wants to just sit and relax. and when Lyla is sleeping I want to relax, and she gets so mad. She has a sweet side too don't get me wrong.
7) Confession..... Lyla refuses to leave the house, she loves home. Which is fine however I need to do stuff in my life. So, usually I drag her out of the house crying. And she is into the I want to do everything myself stage. She wants nothing to do with potty training....oh well I am not gonna fight her about it right now.
8)Confession..... I would love to not have any cat/dog/animal allergies. I am
getting tired of getting/having allergies and not being able to visit with people that I love. It is so frustrating. So, if  I ever leave your house abruptly and you have animals inside please don't take it personal. I pray that my girls are not allergic too. Trying to recover from 2 visits 2 days in a row....it's rough and my body isn't so forgiving.
9) Confession....I can not get my butt into bed before 11 every night. I always find some dumb thing to occupy me. It is rather lame. I think I just love being able to think about my life in the quiet.
10) I wish I had more will power with food. I eat chocolate a lot. The End.

What Happened This Week...

1) Two days after Christmas it no longer looked like Christmas over here. Maybe it is because I have a small house but I was ready to have it down. I put it up right after Thanksgiving. I love having it down and cleaning and having the extra space again. I need to paint a shelf I got for the corner in our front room. They are to display my new vintage cameras I got from my mother in law. So so excited.
2) I caught a chest cold that I am now battling today. Ugg not fun I feel like I have a man voice and hope to get better soon. It could be worse though. Lyla has a bit of a  cough too. She stayed home from church with me today.
3) I was fed up with ABC families sex scene commercials so I decided to email them my thoughts. I don't know if it helped much but it made me feel better to express my feelings. We had a Disney movie recorded and when it went to commercial it was all about committing adultery in your marriage and stuff. We can't watch recorded movies on that channel again. I wish I could punch someone in the face....
4) My mom and I had some great fun going to Mesquite to see Les Miserables together. Oh it was so fun. Getting popcorn, and lemonade and loving every minute of it. What a great movie. I would edit out some stuff if I could but that is usually how it goes.
5) Life is grander since Trent installed my backup camera for my Denali....oh man. The five hours of installment was worth it. I had to help Trent feed the new wire through. I am excited to put it in reverse now. It has great night vision as well. Now I will know the girls aren't behind me while I back up. I always worried about that, I think it is a parents worst nightmare to imagine it.
6) Trent got the Firebird running and has been driving it everywhere. It is pretty neat seeing it being driven again. Cruiser.....after Trent makes sure it won't break down. Him and his brother will sell it.
7) We hosted a Mob get together over at our house. Chase & Nicole Woods were passing through after visiting family for Christmas. It was really fun seeing Danny & Heather, Chase & Nicole, Scott, and Jay. I got to play with two adorable baby girls. A 1 month old and a 8 month old. Adorable:) Good get-together.
8) Evelyn has been a little less busy her preschool is on the same school schedule as the school district. It has been fun having her but I know she misses it. I am so grateful for her teacher and that she can go there. She is learning soooo much and will be so ready for kindergarden.

Christmas and such....

1) The day after Christmas we had a wonderful day. Christmas Eve we went and saw Trent's Grandma & Grandpa Leavitt. And to my moms and also to Grandma & Grandpa Adams that night. Good food and lots of fun. Christmas morning the girls ran into our room waking us up screaming. It was so fun this year. Santa brought both of them bikes...Evelyn one without training wheels. She has had a balance bike for a year and 1/2. He also brought them more dress-ups Tangled for Evelyn and Snow White for Lyla.....they are very blinged out princesses now. I love it, girls are sooo fun. Trent is complaining about the amount of glitter he now sits on and such at our house. lol. We got the girls a Littly People princess palace...the cutest toy I have ever seen.
Trent gave me a backup camera for the Denali....wahoo we have had a broken one ever since we bought it last Feb. and have wanted one every time I put that thing into reverse when the screen goes black and I know it wants to work for me but can't. Yes...Trent is installing it as we speak. Love that man. He also got me some editing tools and the first and second season of the middle on DVD. He did good:)
I gave Trent a Craftsman 5 drawer tool chest, he has always wanted one. Also a Ford Racing Bar Stool with a back for his new work table he welded in the garage. so talented:) He also got the movie Avengers we are excited to watch it together.
I also made a yummy breakfast that morning. Cinnamon rolls, bacon, and eggs. Yes, me Tara made me some bacon:) Trent was proud of his wife for doing that. I am not a bacon fan, never have been. Call me crazy if you would like too.
We headed to Trent's parents, opened gifts, headed to the Messer's to talk to Austrie Messer who is on a mission in Canada. And then to my parents to hang out, eat and talk to my younger brother Ty, who is currently in Australia serving a mission. We got to skype with him and oh how we love him and miss him. I think we all cried including Ty. What a great example he is too us. Love you Tybud!!
2)Today my mom and I drove to Mesquite to see Les Miserable oh my gosh, what an awesome fantastic, epic movie. I loved it...and the singing was really great. A few parts were a little too graphic for me but I loved it!! Bravo Bravo:) Plus I love spending time with my amazing mother who is my best girlfriend:)
3)Evelyn tried out her new bike today and took off......She completely can ride a big kid bike and pedal on. No training wheels ever for her. It was a wonderful glorious sight to see Trent and her on the road. Once she got the pedaling motion down she was off. Proud mommy moment right there. And I am so grateful to Trent that he is such a wonderful daddy that takes time for the girls. And shows them so much love. I found the such a good man to spend eternity with:)
4)Last Sunday our primary did a nativity program and I was stressing over it. I was running the show but lacking a little bit. Evelyn was an angel and she was soo cute.
5)I have had a break in shoots for a few weeks and it was nice before the holiday. However I have some lined up for next week. That are making me excited to take. Brave the cold I will:)

Bowling, Santa, & Fun At Home...
