1)First things 1st, our little Lyla Jane turned 2 years old today!! Oh how I love my wittle Wyla. We started the morning off by opening presents, then went to church. Came home and ate, Lyla napped, Papa came over to eat dinner with us because Grammy was gone. Later Lyla woke up & we had cake and icecream. Before we could even cut the cake, she was taking full size bites out of it. Hilarious, and by the time I got my camera set up, she was just putting her finger in it and licking off the frosting. I was a little proud of my baking skills today. I made this neon colored cake, and my sister Kylee told me her buttercream frosting recipe. The best looking cake I have ever produced/presented to another human being. Thats sad when you look at the pic of it. We also set up this water table toy I got Lyla outside, as soon as she saw water she told Trent to take her shoes off, then climbed on it...we were laughing so hard, this girl loves the water. *Lyla's other presents included a bubble machine, Winnie the Pooh toy, & a bead runner. Not sure what those are called.
2)Trent and I snuck out to catch up with the Mob crew in Vegas. Last minute we got a babysitter thank you Maddy Messer, we will be stuck at home forever without you. We picked up Payden & Krista Anderson along with their baby and drove to Vegas in the craziest rain storm I have ever seen....PERIOD! We got to see our amazing friends Chase & Nicole Woods that live in AZ, and meet all the new babies. There was three there, 2 girls one boy. All of Trent's close friends are producing girls, except for Payden who has 2 boys. The girls huddled and so did the guys, they talked trucks, jobs, that stuff. We talked about mommyhood and our labor stories and so forth. Love those girls, I could talk to them all night. We got back around 1:00 yikes but we had an absolute blast. Thanks Dave & Lexi for the invite.
3)Sat we went to Ella Bowler's birthday party at the Logandale Pool, Trent had to work but the girls and I went. It was so fun. The girls love the water because of their new life jackets called puddle jumpers. One word sums them up AMAZING. It makes it so I don't have to hold the girls, I can let go and be free and the love the freedom, I love the safety. * I stole 2 pics from Ashley Bowler's blog from the party that had me and the girls in it.
4)Wed. we went swimming at my good friend Shelby Turner's house. Ok she has the ideal pool for children. Trent and I are going to build a pool asap. We had the funnest day together with all the other kids and swimming. The girls and I were in heaven. Lyla kept saying "Mom, I swimmin, I swimmin". Another amazing swimming experience due to our life jackets.
5)THIS IS HUGE, I ORDERED A LIGHT FOR MY PHOTOGRAPHY. I HAVE BEEN WANTING ONE OF THESE FOR YEARS MY FRIENDS......YEARS. SINCE I AM TAKING MY SISTER IN LAWS WEDDING I THOUGHT IT WAS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO GET ONE. AND A GOOD EXCUSE TOO. IT SHOULD BE HERE ANY DAY NOW. NOT CHEAP, BUT I KNOW IT WILL BE AN EXCELLENT TOOL TO IMPROVE MY PHOTOGRAPHY WORK.
6)We set up Evelyn's play tent in her room again, and the girls are in heaven. now i have to move out the table & chairs though. They are having so much fun playing together.
7)My father in law Rod got his surgery done on Thurs. He has prostate cancer but is doing well after surgery. He is a fabulous Grandpa/Father/Husband and we can't wait to pay him some visits when he gets home.

10 Of Our Week....
1)I finished editing Taryn & Shane's engagement photos, but can't show them off until the announcements are out. What a good looking couple, really adorable too.
2)Went swimming at the Res. with just the 4 of us. The girls loved the water so much. We got them new puddle jumper jackets that are awesome. Evelyn wore hers proudly, and Lyla through a fit every time we tried to put anything on her. So, we had to watch her like a hawk. She is getting more & more stubborn as she gets closer to age 2.
3)The night of the 4th we had my parents over, as well as Trent's and his Grandma and Grandpa Adams. Taryn came along too. We just did some fireworks in our field in our back pasture. It was fun, Evelyn was loving it, Lyla was scared and wanted to go to bed, so I took her there happily. It was the coolest day of the summer, nice cloudy/breezy it even rained. Heaven!!
4)We went to Home Hardware yesterday and as we were paying for our stuff. Lyla pushed the door open all by herself and booked it out to the parking lot. If there was a car there we would have maybe lost her. My girls have some crazy running speeds (future track stars I think) that make them very hard to catch. My mind was blown away on how she was capable of opening the door and booking it. Crazy, it's like she needs a leash now.
5)We sent Evelyn to bed hungry after she refused to eat dinner that I made, I am through with her not trying food I make, so we didn't give in and make her something else. She has been so whiny and not nice to Trent and I. We want some respect ya know?
6)Helped clean my friends house, there is nothing better than service. Thanks to my sister in law Annie for the idea.
7)Picked up another great photo prop at that great house who is always on the lookout for me. a little toddler chair/bench that is gonna be a great addition to my cool collection. Now if I could only find time to paint them all.
8)Evelyn had a breakthrough at swimming lessons this week. She put her whole head under water. This is fabulous my friends. Even though she is not learning much, at least she is getting comfortable with the water. She has one more week left during this session.
9)Friday morning my good friend Amanda Monk told me about story time at the library here. I quickly got ready and met her there. Ok I don't know how I didn't know about this before, it was fabulous and so much fun. The girls had a blast and I got to get my mom talk on....haha. I love meeting up with friends and venting about how crazy our lives are with children.
10)Trent had to work a 10 hour day Friday, that just about killed him. But he wishes he could work 10 hour days every week and just get Friday off ya know.
*Trent and I also started a cleansing program, we both feel/look better. Found some great AM/PM pills that do wonders. The brand is Now Easy Cleanse. I am always wanting to try more stuff at the health food stores.
*Trent and I also went on a date and saw the Snow White and the Huntsman movie. It was so so good. We love going on dates. Thanks Maddy for babysitting them.

ABOUT US...
EVELYN:
1) She is my alarm clock every morning, I am getting spoiled with sleeping in. She knows not to wake me up until Lyla is awake, which is usually around 7 or 8 if I'm lucky.
2) She loves to do anything with her hands: paint, draw, play dough.
3) She is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G at puzzles, way better than me. She can do a princess 100 piece one almost all by herself. It's so cool.
4) She lives in a princess, sparkle, enchanted castle world. And can't get enough of it. I really love this phase of having a girl.
5) She refuses to wear anything on her bottom half besides a skirt. Shorts aren't twirly enough for her. lol
6) Her favorite show right now is Looney Tunes, ya know like the old good ones that are hilarious, we like to watch all of them as a family. Sometimes I laugh so hard I cry....they are priceless and the new cartoons these days are lame.
7) She wants to wear her hair down every day to be like Tangled.
8) She is a great help to her little sister Lyla, and says she wants a brother someday cause she already has a sister.
10) She is a really fast runner, future track star.....I think so.....
11) She sleeps with her Tangled doll Grammy got her, and says shes to big to sleep with her old stuffed animal Rosebud.
12) She currently loves swimming lessons, and is improving!!
13)She still prefers fruit/veggies over most desserts, I know I am doing something right here.
14)She eats her food slowly and is pretty picky.
15) Has the prettiest/longest hair ever, I envy it shine, length, and healthiness.
16)She claps and sings when she is happy, this morning I woke up to her clapping in the living room.
17) I still am wiping her number 2's every day, when I walk in she says....mom stinky. lol
18)Still plays with her imaginary friend Amy almost everyday and really learns to say and do weird things from her. I have to send her home after about an hour of playing at our house.
LYLA:
1) She is just about the sweetest cuddle bug ever. Kisses all of us all day long. When we put her down at night, we lay her down, give her Piglet, and then she holds out her left hand, then her right, then points to her left cheek, then her right, and then to her lips. You have to kiss each one before she is ready for you too leave. Putting her down is so easy and one of my favorite things to do each day. How many moms can say that about their almost 2 year old. I cringe to think what my life would be like if I never found my sleep sense program....a mess I'm sure!
2) She does every single thing Evelyn does, and wants to be just like her. She thinks she is just as big too. I have learned I have to have 2 of almost everything now. They are getting to be great friends and I love it.
3)"Purple, green, blue, red, kink"...what Lyla says randomly throughout the day when she sees color, so cute.
4)She hates to get her hair done ever.
5) "Modydoo"..what she says when she is upset.
6)She would/could eat fruit snacks and drink apple juice all day if I let her. She has a big sweet tooth. Way more than Evelyn.
7)When we are driving to Grammy's or Grandma's she screams out either Grammy or Grandma when we are about to turn onto their street. I love it.
8)Evelyn wants Lyla to start going potty, but Lyla has no interest so far. Evelyn asked if we could bust out our potty video that my sister Elliah has let us borrow, and will need back eventually. lol
9)She eats almost anything and loves to scarf her food in fear of it going away. Chokes her fruit snacks and treats down, always has a full mouth.
10)She still has her chubby little arms she was born with, I love to squeeze them on a daily basis...ha ha.
11)She likes to look to the side without turning her head. She makes the funniest expressions that make us really laugh.
12)She wants me to hold her for the first 2 hours she wakes up and freaks out if I go potty, she tries to push me off of it all the time. I just laugh.
13)Has a best friend named Piglet who is a stuffed animal who she has been sleeping with ever since she was about 4 months old. She only gets to have her at naptime/bedtime. Loves to suck on the arm of it.
14) OOk=Look,....she says it all day long.
TARA:
1)She is constantly sore from her pilates class & attending her sister in laws Zumba class. Gets some serious workouts in during the week. And never takes it easy during pilates and really pushes herself...too hard sometimes.
2)She can't stop dreaming about photography & wishes she had more time and money to do it. *Her current wish is to get some lights!
3)She would go crazy without her out of teaching my class, Pilates and Zumba keep her smiling daily.
4)She takes a shower every morning and a bath/shower every night, has to go to bed feeling relaxed and clean.
5)Always goes to bed too late...EVERY NIGHT.
6)Has a hard time cleaning up after herself and keeping the house livable!
7)Absolutely adores her 2007 Denali and shows it lots of TLC throughout the week. If only she could treat the house like her car.
8)She is so much happier when she starts her mornings off with a prayer, reading her scriptures, and making her bed....it's not that hard but she slacks sometimes.
9)Loves to sneak peaks of her daughters sleeping at night, also loves putting them down. Thanks to sleepsense.net.
10)Can't stop going to yard sales looking for photo props and spending $$ on cool chairs.
11)Has a hard time eating junk food. meat. anything greasy. bacon. white bread/rice. I could be a vegetarian very easily.
12)One of her least favorite activities during the day....is making dinner, I think if she had a better system as to what she was making and when, maybe plan out her shopping trips better or something. Hasn't had much of an appetite lately.
13)Never thinks she is in style & has cute clothes, never really gets to buy new ones to help out the situation.
14)Has the flattest chest know to man....almost manly. lol. At least it makes her look/feel skinnier.
15)Is a huge procrastinator when it comes to folding laundry...HUGE.
16)Would be so lost without the knowledge she has from the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It makes her happy daily.
TRENT:
1)Loves the women in his life very much. What a good daddy/hubby!
2)His wife thinks he gets cuter by the day.
3)Works so hard at work for his family. He is so smart & knows a lot.
4)Has a passion for fixing things up, and currently has a love affair with his 1967 Ford Mustang, he is restoring. His wife gets a little jealous....LOL.
5)Eats ice cream almost every night of his life, no matter what the occasion is.
6)Lives out in his man-cave garage, when the girl hormones are too much for him to handle, that is his escape, and he loves it. He is so happy he has one.
7)Currently serves as the Elders Quorum President in our ward, that keeps him pretty busy.
8)Has snored every night of his almost 6 year marriage, and wakes up his wife all the time. She doesn't know what to do about it....any suggestions?
9)Can fall asleep anywhere/anytime in spite of how loud it is.
10)Likes to play some nintendo here and there to relax, mostly with his sister Taryn & his brother Taylor. They are insane about smash brothers.
11)Is the fastest man on a lawn mower machine, he can really fly.
12)Wants a back rub from his wife daily, but tends to ask for them when she is really really tired, he convinces her sometimes when he does some housework for the reward.
13)Is one of the nicest people in the world, loves to help out people in need.
14)Has a great testimony of Jesus Christ and holds the priesthood worthily.

Weely Five...
1)Took my sister in law Taryn Leavitt's engagement photos and it was so much fun. What an adorable couple they are. I can't wait to shoot their wedding its gonna be so much fun.
2)We fed the missionaries on Thursday night. I made shepards Pie with fruit pizza...yummo. I could eat fruit pizza every day!
3)Evelyn only attended one swimming lesson this week, we went on Wed. & they had them dive on the stairs for candy...in the pool. And it was the worst possible kind, jolly ranchers....I WAS FUMING INSIDE, ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? YOU ARE JUST ASKING THEM TO CHOKE ON IT....LAME. I WAS SO MAD ABOUT WED. I DIDN'T TAKE HER BACK THURS FOR THE POOL PARTY THEY WERE HAVING. THEY TOLD THE KIDS TO BRING FOOD & MENTIONED NOTHING TO THE PARENTS. STRIKE 2, ANY MORE BLUNDERS & I MAY BUST OUT MY OLD WSI BOOK & TRY AND ACTUALLY TEACH MY KIDS SOMETHING IN THE WATER.
4)Thursday night after Zumba Annie & I were walking out to our cars & noticed there were a bunch of kids who pool hopped over the fence, I don't know why it bothered me so much, but I just didn't want them to get away with it. So, I got in my car and shined my lights on into the pool, they all went under water. I sat there for a minute, I could tell they were freaking out. I then drove onto the road & sat there for a about 5 minutes, they swam fast grabbed their clothes and hopped back over the fence. Mission accomplished. But then I went home & questioned myself all night for what I did. Did I ruin harmless fun for some HS kids? Yes I did....Was it wrong what they were doing? Yes it was.....THEN I thought what if they remember my car and see it while teaching my class and key it or something....I better watch out. Do you think I made the right decision and would you have done the same? I don't ever want to make enemies with people as I live in a small town .....???
5)My brother Elder Ty Askeroth is doing so amazing on his mission. It is really cool to see him changing with every email, we love & miss him so much. But I am so proud to have him as my little brother. Way to go Ty!!
****If I think about 5 other things that happened in our week I will let you know. My memory gets worse every single day.
