LOGANDALE ...

So here we are staying in Logandale. We have been here for a week and have another 10 days left. How is it going for us? Am I enjoying myself here at home with family. Good and Yes.
Some good things:
- After a few tough days here & accidents, Evelyn is back on track & using the potty well.
- Its nice to not buy our own food for a few weeks.
- We are getting tons of help with the girls. They have constant people to play with.
- Trent is getting paid to get his last internship hours for graduation.
- We are having fun with family.
- Being here makes us excited to move back. We are already making plans with how we will fix up our place here, and what type of house we want to build. Yes, so exciting to think Trent will really be done with school SOON!
Some hard things:
- We are all in the same room and wow it is tough. I dread sleep here, well actually everyone sleeps but me. I am up with Lyla, then if she cries Evelyn wakes up, then Trent is snoring. So between calming the girls down and getting Trent to stop snoring I am P O O P E D!
- It won't stop raining here, and I feel it is making me depressed a little. I was so anxious to get out of the snow and head down to dry weather and a little sunshine. Since we got here nada. Hope it changes soon.
- The girls sleep is a little off and I am spending all of my day inside trying to get them all the sleep I can so their sleep can stay regular and normal while we are down here.
- I MISS MY BED!!
- We are not getting our nice personal moments with the girls (or Trent and me) as much with so much family. I really love my moments with Evelyn when its just us. But, with Grandma & Grammy I am invisible. It kinda hurts my feelings but I know it is bound to happen.
*Crossing my fingers for sunshine and we are so excited for Christmas. Hope you all have a lovely one as well. Merry Christmas Ya'll.

Sister Mama's

This photo of my sisters and I was taken on Thanksgiving. With Trent's camera and very crappy lighting, so the photo is what it is. Would have been amazing with mine but I didn't want to lug it around. The Askeroth sisters have been busy having babies this past 2010 year. Here we are from the lef to right: Kendra Askeroth Morris with daughter Sailor, Kylee Askeroth Douse with son Maddox, Tara Askeroth Leavitt with daughter Lyla, and Elliah Askeroth Terry with her soon to be baby girl in March. I am so grateful to have 3 amazing sisters whom I love dearly. You are all great examples to me and I have so much fun with you. We get together and can't stop laughing. Look at Kendra and I. Our hair and everything, we couldn't look any more different these days. Not like twin sisters at all. Ha Ha.

AND THE MOMMY BRAIN AWARD GOES TO...

Mrs. Tara Leavitt~ I do believe I could not have had more of a ditzy day. Here is how it all played out.
1)Loaded the girls into the car and headed to Springville to go to Sally's Beauty and Walmart. Got to walmart and realized Lyla had the WORST BLOWOUT diaper in the history of blowouts. I am talking in her hair and everything. Luckily I had enough wipes and an extra onesie in my bag. However to make matters a little more difficult I forgot my wallet, yep I knew just where I left it at home. In the cupboard because I went to the gym last night.
2)Wipe Lyla down, load her back in the truck and head home to Provo to get my wallet. Get the wallet drive back to Springville.
3)Made a Sally's Beauty purchase put wallet in Sally's bag.
4)Load girls in truck drive to Walmart. Load girls in shopping cart, walk into Walmart, realize I left my wallet in the Sally's beauty bag, that is in the truck.
5)Walk all the way out & retrieve my wallet. Got it.
6)Get my last minute Christmas gifts leave Walmart.
7)Get home and realize I bought a baby Boy gift for the shower I planned on going to tomorrow and just remembered she is having a girl....Sheez can I be any more LAME today?
8)Back to Walmart I will drive for the 3rd time today:) Good thing my girls are really well behaved and easy.

SO PROUD OF HER:)

Today was a great day for Evelyn. Her first day without having one accident. And she is loving wearing her panties and being a big girl. Every time she goes poop in the toilet she says "I am so proud of you". Because she knows those words will come flying out of my mouth! She is really starting to shine in maturity lately. She has had to grow up so much since Lyla was born. I am so glad to have her in my life. She is a really neat little person. I love being a parent and watching my kids reach for new goals and accomplish them. This is the look Evelyn goes for daily now, she loves just running around in her big girl panties. And I am sure the whole street knows her as the girl who stares out the window and waves to everyone. The crosswalk guy is an elderly guy and they love to way back and forth. She says, "Oh there is my friend"!! Its really cute;)

DETERMINED!!

Determined too:
Only let her cousin Breya touch her hair
Draw the best picture of daddy
Take up all the room on the couch with her play friends
Eat mac & cheese for a lot of days at dinner time

Toy Story 3 Reminder...

The other day I let Evelyn play with her princess stickers, this is what I found a little while later. It reminded me of the toddlers in the caterpillar room in Toy Story 3 that get tortured. What would this doll have to say after a day of playing with Evelyn? Plenty I am sure...ha ha. Had to post it!!

DEAR LYLA...

Dearest Lyla, I LOVE: your chubbiness
how you laugh when I get you dressed because it tickles
how easy going you are
how you are so entertained by Evelyn
that your such a great sleeper
to cuddle you
to nurse you
to play with you
your bald spot
when you talk to me
to sqeeze your rolls
how you get funner every day
YOU SO MUCH!!
Love, MOMMY
