BIG NEWS!!!

Change the top photo to say 2015 and it is correct. I am finally pregnant!!How does it feel.....I can't express how grateful I am to be in this position once again. Although I feel it is still a little hard to celebrate it all, with having family and friends who have been so desiring to have the same thing happen to them. I feel guilty in a way but also am really trying to enjoy it all.
Our little bundle of Joy will be arriving April 14th 2015. How did it happen? Well I will tell you. Trent and I were so close to moving on with our lives. We had been trying for 2 years after my last miscarriage and getting no where really. I knew we wanted another child but we just didn't know how it would happen. We kept telling ourselves to be grateful for our two girls. At least we have them.
The next step  my doctor wanted to try was IUI also known as artificial insemination. I was skeptical for months. That won't work for me, I had never talked to someone that worked for, it is expensive, I can't take Femera again with the back pain it put me in, I am just too scared to put my heart into trying something new.....ya the list goes on and on.
I was discussing it with my mom one day and she told me my Aunt Margaret tried for 6 years before she had a child.....and she got pregnant through IUI. What?? How come I had never heard this story. Then that peaked my interest a little bit. So, I started discussing it with my doctor and Trent more. He was all for trying it but I was still scared.
I prayed about it and felt peace. Whenever I would attend the temple with my heart full to find an answer about having another child. I always got the same answer and didn't know why......."All is well....just be patient". To be honest that answer kinda was hard to take. I kept expecting "You are done, be grateful for your two girls"....OR "You will have another one!"
Now that I look back Heavenly Father has been so kind to me and made me learn so much about patience and really waited until I almost gave up. But, I think that is just what I needed now. I have more love for others and their trials and more understanding as well.
Here is how it happened. I was put back on Femera (which killed my back before but didn't this time cause my wonderful hubby gave me a blessing) to make sure I ovulated and then went and got an ultrasound. They said I had 2 very good looking eggs. And that I needed to come back in 48 hours to do the procedure. Thank goodness for Grandparents here who are willing to babysit emergency. We went back up to St. George Sat. and stayed the night. We had to be at the hospital at 7am. Trent and I had a wonderful night together and we felt at peace that if the procedure worked or it didn't work we would try to accept whatever the outcome was. And we were ok with it all. The procedure was fast and easy and then we crossed our fingers for the next two weeks. We didn't tell anyone what we did, cause I didn't want to get my hopes or my families hopes up. I took a PG test and it was my 100th negative. But, it was a few days before my missed period. So, I waited until the day my period was due. POSITIVE TEST, POSITIVE TEST.....WAIT IT REALLY IS POSITIVE?! Such a weird feeling when you can't get one for 2 years every month. I went and stopped Trent from mowing the lawn and told him. He couldn't believe it either. Now to keep the baby I was kind of a mess the next 5 weeks. We didn't tell a soul. We told our families after I had an ultrasound around 81/2 weeks. The heartbeat was very strong and the baby looked perfect.
But the next week I started bleeding bad and bled all day long. I lost a huge blood clot in the toilet and was so worried my baby was in it. I was preparing myself for the worst, yet trying to stay positive. But, I still felt really sick and tired. I had to wait in until Monday to go in!! What a long,...horrible weekend. Trent really helped me keep my head up and was amazing. He gave me a blessing that no matter what happened we would be able to handle it well. Monday Trent drove me in and the first thing they did was an ultrasound. There the baby was healthy as can be perfect heart beat. They noticed I had a little bit of bleeding in my uterus. I had that with Lyla too. They said that may have caused my bleeding but they weren't sure. They told me that if I started to bleed again I was to go back in. I cried I was so grateful the baby was ok. It made me even more aware that my Heavenly Father cares about the desires of my heart. I have not bled since and still sick. lol
When we drove home that day we were in the biggest rain storm of our lives. I was so happy Trent was driving. Our valley and interstate got flooded. We barely made it home with traffic stopped and the water everywhere. I am so grateful I didn't have to wait a whole week to know my baby was still in there. lol
Every day I am sick I try to be thankful for it since it means I am expecting and the baby is doing great. We get to find out what we are having October 27th. We can't wait. I have felt boy the whole time. However, I am not set on that, I have guessed wrong before. I know that if we have a girl we will be delighted too. But, a boy would be something new and fun too.
I will be having another planned C-section one week early. I am scared but it is what it is. And that is that. I love my two doctors and know they will take care of me. I will post a belly shot soon. Until then......the baby and I will be taking it easy and getting through each day at a time. I am 13 weeks tomorrow!!
I wanted to personally thank all of you who have kept me and my family in your prayers over the last 2 years. It means so much to Trent and I on how many people care about our lives. Love you all!!

Back To School. . .

This past week Evelyn headed to full day school. I was happy yet sad she was going to all day. She has Mrs. Eide for a teacher and Trent had her for 1st grade 23 years ago. So, we were pretty happy when Evelyn got her too. She is very nice and I know she will have a great year.
Lyla starts preschool this next Tues/Wed. She only goes for 2 days 10-12. I am so happy she will have an outlet cause she has really been lonely since Evelyn is at full day now. And keeping her entertained all day is pretty brutal.
Trent is fervently working on the Mustang when ever he can. I am encouraging it cause I really want that to get done. Then we can move on to building our house. Yipee for me:) We are going to do a custom house but I know a lot of what I want already!!
I started playing around with Family Search lately and am blown away with how interesting it is to look at family history and where I come from. I love it cause you can see if the family names have been done as well. It is fun to see family names too I love old fashioned names.
We are getting a new Bishop in our ward. Kurt and Audrey Lytle are moving to Seattle, Washington really soon. Everyone in the ward is wondering who the new bishop and councilors will be.
I haven't been shooting much but miss it dearly:) Looking forward to some family sessions in the fall when it is cooler.

Camping and stuff. . .

- We went camping with Trent's family this past weekend and it was so much fun. We went up to Cleve Creek to camp. It was the most beautiful campsite I have ever seen. We also went to Great Basin National Park to see Lehman Caves a guided tour through an amazing cave!! We had the best Rzr ride up the mountain too. Trent and I slept in the trailer we store at our house.
-Lyla is getting ready for preschool she will start Sep. 2nd and go for two days a week. She is growing way too fast.
-Evelyn found out she has Mrs. Eide for school this year. She was Trent's first grade teacher 23 years ago...crazy isn't it? That is who I was hoping she would get though.
-Evelyn and I had lots of fun school shopping a few weeks ago. She thought we had money growing on trees. On the way home I was worried I was gonna run out of gas so I stopped in Mesquite got gas then got back on the road. My tire light came on for my front tire and I kept driving. Then I heard the thumping sound and knew I had a blowout. I called Trent and him and Lyla came to rescue us. It was a cooler day so that was nice. But Trent had the hardest time getting the spare tire off. Finally we were good to go. It is funny the last time I got a blow out it was only Evelyn and I in the car too. Pretty crazy and scary both times.
-Last night I had a funny convo with Lyla: L- mom when will you have a baby?
Me-when Heavenly Father wants to send me one, why do you have want me to have one?
L-cause they are cute...I promise I will share all my toys with him. ( both the girls always talk about having a brother it is so cute, but hard to hear too)
