My Clothes I Came Home With...
Wish I Could Have Had A Shopping Buddy. Like My Good Friend Katie Robertson, She has Got Fashion Down. She Helped Me Shop The Day Before Trent Came Home...Wish You Could Have Been There Katie:) Love Ya
Today I was so stoked, I FINALLY had some money to go shopping. Never...ever happens, (thanks to Christmas gifts). Trent willingly watched Evelyn so I could go care free. I get ready in the morning...and poof I am at the mall with wallet ready to go. So, where do I being??? HMMM....with some jeans. Ok so with jeans, I L O V E Buckle jeans. You know the kind that lasts long because they are made so well, but are so dang PRICEY! I start off in the store called Forever Young Shoes, who now carry jeans. I walk in and am trying to find my size. Some teenage girls working there treat me like I am an idiot and weren't very helpful. Peace out youngins... onto Buckle. Let me point out that I am usually attacked by about 5 people that work at Buckle at the same time...cause they want to have helped you, they make $$ from commission. I used to dread that every other time I walked in but today, I could have used some recognition. Is it possible I was being shunned for being a pregnant out of style dressed girl???...Maybe. Well, I wanted to get 2 new pairs of jeans with my money not one pair for $100. So, onward to Forever 21 my fave store. Except walking in there is pretty overwhelming...it is huge. I felt so helpless...here I am expecting my second, have no clue what goes with what...what looks I can pull off. etc. I almost gave up and walked out the door right then...to go order from Forever 21.com, but every time I do that I don't like what I ordered. Nevertheless I had a change of heart and decided I better at least try to know what I am doing or what I am looking for. I found some dresses, leggings, blush, and ugg... can't spend anymore. Can you believe how hard it is to earn money, and how easy it is to spend it. Plus you can barely buy anything now with $100. But, I was very happy and proud of myself when I was at the checkout paying for these clothes. I still needed jeans, went home and Trent left for work. Evelyn woke up from her nap and I took her down to DownEast Basics with me. Well, I went to this one that sells furniture and is really big. The problem is...they had no shopping carts there...yes. So, i am trying to keep Evelyn close by me, while trying to find pants. Hello, you need to have carts here, talk about stressful. I went in the dressing room 3 different times. Asking myself over and over if I can pull these pants off. See I refuse to buy pregnancy pants this time around. I already have some and would rather get pants I can enjoy for now a little bit and after the baby. I did it...bought 2 pairs for $60 a piece. And I love them. Here is a photo of all my clothes. At least I got something right? I was pretty happy after a crazy day of shopping.

i haven't had a succesful shopping day since 2004.
: )
Shopping... I hate it.
Yvette loves it... so I tag along to be with her. WE found her two pair of jeans for $30 each (total of $60 and we were feeling pretty good about the sale we happened onto.)
It really looks like you did a fantastic job.
ToOdLeS.
Yes I have had days like that!!! Except they usually come out with a greater amount of $$$ spent. FUn for me... bad for Brent!! :)
I rarely go shopping anymore, I usually come out of the stores being way too stressed with someone always crying (tired of walking, bored, hungry, ect.) ahhh...it's just not worth it :)
I hope those are maternity jeans, or you are in trouble dude. I am pretty sure that they are not maternity jeans though.
I hate maternity jeans! I just wore regular - a little bit bigger jeans with a belly band from Motherhood until the day I delivered. And you're so small, I'm sure you could do the same thing. It was awesome. I'm never buying maternity again. I'm glad you found some good deals. I don't think shopping is as hard as everyone says, as long as you're willing to put the time in. Next time, call me - I'd LOVE to go with you!! Ps - call me if you ever need anything or just want to hang out. We don't do that enough.
