Lately!!

1) I got some eyelash extensions today. My neighbor is wanting to do it more for people so she didn't charge me and did a great job. I feel pretty oh so pretty.
2) Lyla is officially potty trained and it feels amazing. She did it in 3 days time.  So proud of her and she was truely ready. All that waiting around was worth it I guess.
3) This is the last week before Evelyn starts school. I can't believe it. She met her teacher Mrs. Hammons and is very excited. She goes in the afternoon and will ride the bus.
4) We are all very tired of this heat....summer please end soon. Please cool off soon.
5) My back has good days and bad days. My dad has really helped me for a few days I thought I needed and MRI cause I was having numbness down my leg. Scary stuff. But thankfully I am on the mend. I know I will die when I go back monday but am ecxited t o get back with a steady workout routine.
6) We were able to go to the temple this week. Trent's cousin Mady went through the Vegas temple for her mission. Trent and I gk t asked to be the witness couple again for the second time in a row. Almost 7 years of marriage and only 2 times . I like doing it:) I had an great experience there this time. The church is true and there is no better place than the temple to answer lifes questions:)
7) We are excited to head to Disneyland in a few weeks with Trent's family. The girls are at really fun ages....the recent potty training may be a little harder on all those fun rides.
8) The Ruiz family is doing really wonderful. Shannon the mom set a date to get baptized Sep. 14th we are so happy for their family.

This week:

1) The Denali got a new look with some new tint. We love the look and how much cooler the car has been. It will take a little getting used to. Brett Lee is great at at tinting.
2) Evelyn is counting down the days till school. We are so excited and a little sad as well. She got to play with Monroe and Eric Lee. Lyla and her got to stay for about an hour and had a blast.
3) Lyla is so stubborn in the potty training department. I am trying to be patient but it is hard. C'mon Lyla. Funny story about her. A few days after she turned three one of her braids got stuck to her earring . The end of her braid was pointing to her mouth. She looked at my mom frozen and said "It's talking to me!!" I wasn't in the room but my mom just died. I was laughing so hard when she told me. I had to post:)
4) I feel weird without teaching my class..like a part of me is missing. I miss Pilates so badly. Can't wait to get back. And for my back to feel good again.
5) We went on a 3 hour ride with our good friends the Ruiz family on our ATV's .  They didn't know where any trails were here in the valley. It was hot and fun and the kids had a blast. I love how close our two families are getting.  We love them and have a lot things in common.

Our weekly ten. . .

1)Took Evelyn school shopping Friday. Just her and I we had a blast. Went to Cafe Rio and then to get frozen yogurt. Then spent some time at Elliah's house. We love our cousins.

2) Trent has been working on the Banshee him and his brother Ty. They put some new shocks on it and Trent road it today. He was pretty excited. 

3) I have had to miss my Pilates class for the last few weeks. I injured it and didn't take off the time I should have from my class therefore making it way worse. It has been a frustrating thing to go through. Unable to pick up my house, bend like normal. Function like a normal person. Thank goodness for my dad he has helped me a lot. It is a stubborn injury that takes some weeks to heal. Some hours I feel pretty good then I feel like I over do it. Then I hurt for some hours. I can't imagine feeling normal again. And I am dying not working out. Uhh I hope I only have a few more weeks of being like this. Wish me luck. 

4) I have been due for an upgrade on my phone for some time now. I got a used I phone 4 from my friend Danielle. And it has worked well and no problem. But I thought I would checkout and branch out to something else. I did upgrade. Not to an another iPhone but to a Samsung Galaxy S 3. I am very excited I did lots of research on this phone and I know it's gonna be sweet. They compared it a lot to the I Phone 5 and it can do everything it can. Plus more. So I thought I would give it a shot. I think Apple could have made some things easier on the I phone 4 . I am happy to break out of the I phone pack and do something something new and exciting!! Even if some people think I am crazy for switching . I will report back on what I think. 

5) This week we bought something I have wanted for a long time. An elliptical machine. I get my toning in every week but I don't do cardio much. It's hard to make myself. Well, Trent and I had a treadmill then we got a workout tv that plays dvd's to use with the treadmill. However he treadmill was so loud you couldn't hear the movie at all. And I was having issues wih my knees on there. We found an elliptical on one of the local Facebook yards ale sites. I was drooling over it but didn't mention it to Trent cause he likes treadmills better. But he said I should call up the lady and ask about it. I got it for an amazing price and it is an amazing machine. Now I need to to getover his back issue I have and I will be ok . It is soooo nice . Can't wait to use it . I actually tried it out yesterday but couldn't go long cause of my back. So so smooth. 

6) My neighbors are so excited about the gospel and Shannon the mother has set a date to get baptized. Aug 30th. So excited for her. It has been really neat to see them learn about he church and makes me realize how scary it must be to get into it when you don't grow up with it. Our church is very complex but the most true thing on the Earth. The husband Tim asked how his family can be sealed and when. He is so anxious to get there. We love this family and becoming so close with them. Shannon and I will be very close. I love Mondays because we get to have the missionaries and the Ruiz family over here and talk about he gospel. It is my fav part of the week. 

7) We went to Kaleb Ruiz's birthday party tonight. We had lots of fun and are in love with how close our neighborhood is now. We love the Schoutin's and Ruiz's so much. After that lady we went to Trent's uncle Troy's step daughter is going on a mission so there was a get together at his Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt's house. I could only stay inside for about 5 min. Then I stepped outside due to my lovely cat allergies. Uhh lots of fun time to myself. Trent came out and went on a walk with me. That was nice.. He is so sweet;) 

8) Evelyn says: go fish (the game) = gold fish . And on your March (mark) get set go. 

9) Lyla says: Eban =Evelyn , piglet =piglet  which is huge she used to never say her p's:) lol

10) Trent surprised me with my old HS megaphone this week. I saw my name in it at our local flower shop and was drooling over it;) He went and bought it for me along with these flowers;) I got teary eyed it was so sweet ;) love that man . 

What A Week

1) We started of the week with Lyla turning 3 on Monday. We had a great day together as a family. She loves her new earrings. Here are some pics from it all.

2) Somehow I hurt my back bad. I hope I can teach Pilates this week. My dad has been treating me and I can't move well. Thank goodness for him or I would be a cripple. 

3) we went swimming as a family. Some friends of ours were celebrating their daughter Ella's bday at the Logandale pool. We had a blast with great company. The water was perfect.

4) We are getting much closer with our awesome neighbors . The Ruiz's are going to start taking the missionary lessons from at our house starting this Monday night. They moved here from Vegas and we are so excited about their interest in the gospel .The dad was a member growing up but stopped when he was  a teen . I am so excited cause I have never had the opportunity to sit in on the lessons. It is going to be really neat. 

5) we went to my mom and dads house for dinner. There were some special guests there. A guy name Tony from Australia was there. He was baptized by Kent Barlow when he went to the Perth Australia mission. When Ty first arrived in Perth he this same man named Tony was bishop in that ward. So he asked where Ty was from in the ward meeting and he said, Las Vegas , NV. He then asked Ty if he knew where Logandale was. Ty told him he was from there and they made the kent Barlow connection. I guess Kent had him speak in his ward (log. 5th) my parents went to listen and since he was staying for a whole week my mom invited them for dinner. He also had his 17 year old son Caleb who was pretty cool. Their accents were awesome we laughed and got teary eyed . Great people they are. 

Happy Birthday Lyla Jane...Your 3 now.

Dearest Lyla, Today you turned three and it was wonderful. You got up at about 6am and almost opened all of your presents without me and with Evelyn's help. I awoke to pure joy as you had already opened one.
 You loved your presents and got lots of Lalaloopsy stuff. Which is your absolute favorite thing right now. You got about 3 dolls worth today and you were in heaven. You got a fishing game that Evelyn has been playing lots with you, and you have shared well.
 You opened up presents at Grandma's house and Grammy came over here and gave you a wonderful tote to put all of your new toys in. You tried to hold up three fingers all day long, but really held up four it was the cutest thing ever!!
  For the past 6 months you have talked about getting earrings like Eban (Evelyn) and today you did it. You went into Claire's with me and we picked out some pretty blue flowers that you just adore and love. You were so brave and sat so still. I didn't know if you would really do it but you did. You did a soft cry for a few minutes and then you were so happy to have them. Daddy went to the car and got your last present from us. A Lalaloopsy Doll and you are sleeping with it right now you haven't put it down. You and Evelyn rode some rides at the mall.  We took you to Old McDondalds and you played in the play place. (Not my choice for dinner but it was where you wanted to go). You were too little to go up where the big kids were so you stayed down in the toddler section and loved having it all to yourself.
 We came home and you blew out your Lalaloopsy cake and had some icecream. You were just glowing :)
 When I took your clothes off for a bath I forgot about your earrings and caught your shirt on one. You were crying as you told me it was just an accident. Your so sweet and forgiving. And you are always so polite and say thank you for everything. We are so happy to have you in our family. I love you Lyla Jane.

4th of July in Cedar City, UT.

1) We went to Cedar City, UT to my brother Isaac's house for the 4th of July this year. Some of my siblings have been going there yearly. Which I was not aware of...lol. Amazing, nice and cool and the girls had a blast with theirs cousins. I am convinced this needs to be our new 4th tradition. We are here for every other holiday of the year and it was so nice to see some Askeroth's and get away. I wish I could see my siblings more. Here are some pics.

2) I feel like I am losing my mind lately....No seriously. I never read through things and I show up at parties on the wrong day. I am embarrassed for myself. I have got to change and get some brain cells back or I am in trouble. It is one thing if your pregnant but if your not, it is just plain sad ya know. So if I say I am doing something to you and I forget I am so sorry. uhh
3) I am so close to getting my house to where I want it to be. Almost done painting all that I need to paint. Wahoo, what a feeling.
4) Lyla turns 3 tomorrow....where did the time go wittle Wyla? Getting sad...maybe it is because when Evelyn was 3 I had a baby to sqeeze ya know.
5) We went on a long Rzr ride the other day and went into some white sand for us to play in . It was soooo nice. We love that thing;)
6) I love my bangs so much and feel like I am finally the best version of myself and have something to cover my huge forehead and frame my face better.
7) Lyla is getting to be a little stinker, she is def 3 tomorrow and showing it. The other day we found her eating lotion twice, then I found her with my mascara under a blanket putting it on her eyes and eating it... what is with this kid. She hates timeout in her room and screams the whole time that she is sad...it is sad, but has to be done.
8) Evelyn is getting so big and grownup. She is so ready for school. She loves primary and to talk back to me most of the time. But she can be so caring and sweet too. I guess she is just human. My mom says it best " They have to be strong spirits to come down to the world they are born in now a days". The teenage years will be fun over here. ha ha .
9) I am still in love with our two chickens...we see almost no bugs...maybe a few that try to run in at night. When they are sleeping...other than that it is great. Great I tell you. I would encourage anyone to get them. We have been getting less eggs do to the heat though.
10) This heat is killing us:) Really it is brutal. I keep telling myself only a few more months ya know.
