DARN IT ALL....

So yesterday I had a conversation with my friend and I have come to the conculsion that my blog must once again become private. There is too scary of stuff out there, and I am pretty personal on my blog. I put a log to see where people were looking from and there was a good chunk not in the USA. Gives me the chills just thinking about it! I hate the private thing, because you get a limit on how many people can look at it. It sucks they have to log in and all. But, I have my two beautiful girls on here, whom I tell a lot about. So if me putting my blog private again makes you look at it less, sorry but I have gotta to feel like I am doing the right thing. Why do the creeps have to ruin good stuff like blogs. Leave me your email, if you wanna still look at us.

Weekly Ten AGAIN!!

1)From my last post you know the highlight of our week was getting our new car...exciting. We love it and I am always trying to find reasons to get into it and drive.
2)Went to my mouth doc he said the top of my mouth is bruised and it's still been hard to eat this week.
3)I think the week has finally caught up with me I am so so tired.
4)Picked up some cool stuff from my friend Amanda's yard sale, and she let me get rid of some of my stuff too.
5)About once 10 times a day I have this run through my mind: How does ANYONE have more than two kiddos? I cannot keep up with mine.
6)Lyla and Evelyn wouldn't leave a baby bird alone today, it was hurt and couldn't fly. They probably would have killed it if it didn't run for its life in a bunch a weeds.
7)Every time Lyla runs outside she runs right to the dirt and eats it like its crumbled cake or something. I am talking mouthfuls. Or she finds a lovely rock and licks the rock, then dips it then licks the dirt off like its fun dip candy...ha ha. We can't figure out why, but never fails she finds the stuff tasty.
8)Evelyn is getting great with her letters, we practice them every day, I am currently trying to find a preschool solution for her next fall.
9)Lyla also thought it would be fun to get into daddy's black sticky glue stuff, he left on the floor of the garage, it was like tar and so crappy to get off. This girl is crazy lately, into everything.
10)I was able to start teaching my class again today, it was so fun to be back with all my ladies.

Done & Done!!

Get a new car...CHECK...Get my dream car...Check!! DONE & DONE! SO EXCITED TO POST ABOUT THIS. THE CAR YOU ARE SEEING IN THESE PHOTOS IS OUR NEW RIDE. 2007 YUKON DENALI BLACK, LOADED. HERE IS HOW WE GOT IT. WHILE I WAS RECOVERING FROM MY MOUTH SURGERY. I WAS LOOKING ONLINE FOR THIS SPECIFIC CAR. ON KSL I FOUND THIS BEAUTY. I LOOKED AT IT FOR A FEW DAYS BUT THOUGHT I WOULDN'T HAVE A CHANCE GETTING IT. OR TALK TRENT INTO LOOKING/BUYING IT. TUES I DECIDED THAT I COULD EITHER WONDER ABOUT IT OR FIND OUT. SO I CALLED THIS GUY NAMED DUSTIN. HE SAID HE GOT ONE CALLER ABOUT IT AND THEY WERE LOCATE IN SALT LAKE. HE TOLD ME THE SECOND ROW WAS A BENCH SEAT (THEY DON'T MAKE THE SECOND ROW LIKE THAT ONLY BUCKET SEATS) I TOLD HIM I WOULD BE THERE TO LOOK AT IT/TEST DRIVE IT. TRENT WAS WORKING IN VEGAS AND COULDN'T MAKE IT OVER TO WASHINGTON, UT. IN TIME SO I CALLED MY WONDERFUL MOTHER IN LAW CAMILLE. SHE HAS A 2007 DENALI, AND THOUGHT SHE COULD HELP ME WITH THE GIRLS AND COMPARE IT TO HERS. WE PULLED UP TO THIS GATED MANSION. HOLY FANCY PANTS. AS SOON AS I SAW IT, I WAS PRETTY EXCITED. THEN WE TOOK IT ON A DRIVE, I DROVE IT AND THEN CAMILLE DROVE IT. WE NOTICED A WEIRD SOUND SO WE TOOK IT BACK TO HIS HOUSE & HE FOUND OUT IT WAS HIS SAT RECEIVER ROTATING TO GET RECEPTION...WHO NEEDS THAT ON THEIR CAR? INSIDE WAS A SCREEN ON THE DASH THAT: HOLDS A BACKUP CAMERA, DOES RADIO AND IS A DVD/CD PLAYER. ALL TOUCH SCREEN REALLY COOL BUT HARD TO FIGURE OUT AND PRETTY COMPLEX. A DVD PLAYER IN EACH ONE OF THE HEADRESTS FOR THE BENCH MIDDLE SEAT. THIS WAS REALLY COOL TO US. WE WILL LOVE THIS FOR LONG TRIPS FOR THE GIRLS. IT WAS IN ALMOST PERFECT/NEW CONDITION. THEY TOOK REALLY GOOD CARE OF IT. HE POINTED OUT SOME SCRATCHES AND SAID HE WILL TAKE $300 OFF FOR THOSE. I TOLD HIM I DO NOT SELL IT TO ANYONE IT IS MINE. I SAID I WILL FIGURE THINGS OUT WITH MY LOAN AND BRING MY HUBBY UP HERE TO LOOK AT IT. THE NEXT DAY TRENT GOT WORK OFF TO GO POSSIBLY BUY IT WITH ME. WE WEREN'T ABLE TO MAKE THE LOAN HAPPEN THAT DAY, BUT OK IT THROUGH PHONE COMMUNICATION. WE GET THERE AND TRENT LOVES IT..BUT SAYS HE'S GOTTA TRY IT ON THE FREEWAY. WE GET ON THE FREEWAY HE GETS UP TO 70+ AND WE NOTICE A SHAKE. (*MY DREAM OF OWNING THIS CAR WAS STARTING TO DWINDLE, IT HAD TO PASS THE TRENT TEST) WHEN WE GOT BACK AND TELL DUSTIN WE PINPOINT IT TO THE TIRES SITTING IN ONE PLACE FOR 10 MONTHS. SINCE WE HAD TO GET 2 NEW FRONT ONES HE TAKES OFF $500 FOR US. HE WAS GREAT TO DO BUSINESS WITH AND NEVER PRESSURED US, WAS SUPER HELPFUL AND REALLY WANTED IT TO GO TO US BECAUSE OF OUR YOUNG FAMILY. I TOLD TRENT IF HE GOT IT FOR ME, HE COULD DRIVE IT HOME, BUT HE HAD TO TAKE THE GIRLS AS WELL. SO I DROVE HOME IN MY TINY RICE CAR SATURN, WHILE TRENT ROAD IN LUXURY. WE LOVE IT AND ARE SO HAPPY TO HAVE IT FOR OUR FAMILY. IT IS HARD TO GET USED TO CAUSE ITS SO SO NICE. BUT I ADORE IT. ERRANDS SEEM FUNNER TO DO NOW!!

Our Wild Weekly Ten....

1)My week was going all hunky-dory until I sat down in the dentist chair at my periodontists office in St. George Wed.(My mom and I ran some errands earlier that day, then we hung out at my sisters for about an hour. I left the girls and my mom there as I went to the office. I was really nervous before, but tried to calm myself down.)I'm just gonna tell it how it was, no sugar-coating involved. It was tough getting all the shots to begin with, the first one in the roof of my mouth was so terrible. Then I got way too hot and took my jacket off, then my shoes, he got a wet paper towel for my forehead he said I was burning up, YEP I was nervous. I wanted to be brave and keep my eyes open for most of the time, then when the blood started to squirt everywhere, I was done, I DO NOT DO BLOOD!! The worst part was when they scraped of the roof of my mouth, It felt like they were grading cheese, not fun at all. The sound was so disturbing. My mouth was full of blood the whole time. Then a thought came to my mind "Why am I doing this to myself"? (Oh ya 3 different doctors told me I needed to get it done, plus I have been having major sensitivity issues) So many long minutes later, the surgery was finally over!! I sat up put on my jacket and shoes. My puffy head nodded as they read off directions and then, I walked out the door. Went and picked up my prescriptions and I was off to my sister Elliah's. I was using Evelyn's drawing board to communicate with Elliah and my mom. We had the longest car ride home EVER. Lyla had not slept all day, Evelyn was cranky, & so was I. Plus it was hard for me to talk. We drove through a pretty bad rainstorm to get home. Bless my Mom for coming with me that day, I can never do stuff like that without her. I can never pay her back for those types of things. Since the surgery, I spent the first 2 days spitting out blood into a cup, have been taking pain killers non stop and they have made me sick due to the fact I can't eat ANYTHING BUT SMOOTHIES, NOT EVEN SOUP WITH LITTLE CHUNKS, CAN'T CHEW AT ALL, & I AM MISSING ALL OF MY WORKOUT, MY CLASS & ANNIE'S. THIS HAS MADE ME KRANKY, AND SAD.I ALSO HAVE TO WEAR A MOUTHPIECE SO I TALK LIKE I AM REALLY 15. SO SO FUN. OK ENOUGH SELF LOATHING...
2)Our cable company hasn't been providing super service, and we were without any of our channels for about a week. We were fed up. We got Dish and are so excited. Oh and DVR oh how we love it. We have already been recording and skipping through commercials, we have been missing out. Dish has great service and we L.O.V.E them.
3)Because of my surgery and Trent working in the office this week he was able to work on his Mustang. I am happy working on his mustang gives him the same happiness that working out does for me. So when he gets to do it I can tell he is just more cheery ya know. It's coming along nicely.
4)I have got to bust out my parenting books because I do not know what to do with Evelyn. Anything/everything I say to her, I get a sassy mean/I am not gonna do that/ your not the boss/ stop it mom remark. I HATE IT. We have taken away lots of toys and today I took her in the bathroom and washed her mouth out with soap. She has NO respect for me at all. NONE. Parenting books her I come...Please Help....
5)Lyla is climbing everywhere and wanting to be way bigger/older than she is. Today she fell off of Trent's fourwheeler and hit her face on the sharp fourwheeler pegs, it was so very sad.
6)Lyla is also refusing to drink milk and I tried Pediasure and it's a no go with that as well. Gotta bust out some other food for vitamin D I guess.
7)Evelyn is learning her letters pretty fast now, I have this dry-erase book that she traces the letters.
8)Ordered me some cute bermuda shorts for our hot summer, it will be here sooner than we think.
9)Had a fabulous Valentine's Day. Trent came home from lunch with some pretty flowers for me and a red rose in a vase for both of the girls. He is so sweet and we are so lucky to have him in our life. Thanks for being my Valentine honey!! *Also ate dinner at Rod & Camille's it was lots of fun.
10)We got to celebrate my moms b-day with taking her out to lunch at Inside Scoop, it was fun and really yummy. I love her and am so proud to be her daughter, she is the sweetest person ever. Love you mom. You still look amazing for your age by the way!!

2)Me: (While watching Tv) Justin Bieber flashes up on the screen, he really needs to pull his pants up/lose the earings!" Evelyn: "But, Mom you love Justin Bieber....HA HA HA
3)*(While playing a Taylor Swift song in the car) Evelyn: "Mom is this Uncle Taylor Swift Singing?"
4)Evelyn: "Makenzie Bush". Me: "Why did you say that? Do you know who that is?" Evelyn:" No, I don't know why I said that...laughing". ** Makenzie Bush is a girl in our ward who is adorable, she probably hears me talking about how I want her to babysit our girls so badly.
5)Evelyn:" I am not gonna do that, I am gonna spank you, I'm not gonna do anything cause your the boss!!" (SCREAMING THIS WHEN I WANT/ASK HER TO DO ANYTHING, I AM DEALING WITH A TEENAGER RIGHT NOW. MAN I AM STUMPED AS TO WHAT I NEED TO DO, LOOKS LIKE I GOTTA PRY OPEN MY PARENTING BOOK!!
6)Lyla: "Eban (Evelyn), Mommy, Dada, Eyes, Ears, Nose, Mouth, Hair, Up....and she nods her head when she wants something as well.

Weekly Ten...

**Yes I am pretty lame that these are the only posts I do, but as long as I can journal for our family each week I am good.
1)Lyla thought it would be cool to put a baseball into Trent's exhaust pipe of our brown truck. Trent was outside stripping copper at the time. He could not get it out, after many attempts he jacked up his truck so it would be at an angle revved up and it came flying out. LYLA DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN.
2)We got our tax return back this week....woot woot. What to do with it this year....hmm. Well, this week I have to get gum reconstruction done and it is gonna be expensive, luckily we have no debt to pay off. We love that feeling but can't have it always. Its so hard to not each take some money and do whatever with it. This year we are most likely gonna put that into savings and get an SUV in the near future. Yes, I said SUV....oh man. Last year we wanted to do it, we went car shopping but, didn't feel it was the right time to do so. Hope to get one soon.
3)Lyla stayed a little longer into nursery today, crying and clinging onto Sister Beckstrand and crying...but that is a step forward believe it or not.
4)Had a great day at the Logandale park with a bunch of friends. Gotta love getting the kiddos out of the house, and we get to vent about life and how much our busy we are. And blah, blah, blah.... It is so nice:) Wish I could do it every day.
5)Lyla hasn't been as happy this week, I took her bottle away, I figured it was time. I tried before this week to slowly take it away, didn't do anything. SO COLD TURKEY I WENT!! It was so stinking hard, cause she loves it and holds it so cute. So, bottle is gone, but she REFUSES TO TAKE MILK FROM ANYTHING ELSE, SO THAT IS A PROBLEM. BUT I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GIVE IT TO HER WITH EVERY TYPE OF SIPPY CUP/ALSO GIVING HER WHATEVER I CAN TO MAKE UP FOR THE NUTRIENTS SHE IS MISSING. I THINK SHE WILL GIVE IN SOON, MY NEPHEW DID THE SAME THING, NOW HE IS FINE.
7)Busted out my shorts this week because it is pretty warm here, in the low 70's and I really love it. It scares me a little about the heat ahead though.
8)Painted my sewing machine table this week, it was a lot of work but it turned out so cute. And of course I have no photo to prove it yet...yikes.
9)Evelyn got to attend her first birthday party for Fallon Yardley. It was on Sat. and she was so excited they rode horses and had a blast. She said she wants to do a friend party for her b-day in May.
10)Trent was happy to pick up working on the Mustang again, yes he has really missed it a lot. Hard for him to find time and energy.
11)Went to the best Stake Womens Conference ever, oh my gosh the decorations, speakers, spirit were so amazing. I think the last speakers talk could have been a general conference talk it was that good. I got to go with my mother, it was wonderful indeed!!

Weekly Ten...

1)Lyla left a surprise (you know what) on Evelyn's floor. Here the pic to prove it. lol. Evelyn was like "I need help cleaning this up".
2)Katie Roberston & I went to visit Nicole's grave, and then the May family on her 10th anniversary day. It was nice to do something for Nikki and visit with her lovely family. She is missed so much & I have so much love for the May's.
3)I spent about 10 hours cleaning and organizing our garage. I cleared and vacuumed out where we store everything. You should have seen the mess before.
4)Finally took a pic of my new wall & curtains I stamped in my house, here it is, the proof I am slowly changing my house.
5)Tonight I did not give Lyla her bottle of milk after her bath, she was really stubborn, however took a few sips from a sippy. Little steps right?
6)Had an amazing workout week as usual, oh how my class and Annie's Zumba allow me to look forward to my week. They really do keep me sane.
7)I told the Overton 4th ward my testimony today, I was really scared and proud of myself. It was time too, I really am so grateful for my life and all of the blessings Heavenly Father is willing to give me.
8)Had a scare Tues. morning when Lyla decided it would be fun to get a toddler chair and climb on it by the window seal in Evelyn's room. But she hurt her mouth pretty bad. I just remember running in there, blood, lots of it. I wasn't sure if she bit through her bottom lip/or moved her teeth. IT WAS BAD THOUGH. SO BAD THAT I WAS GETTING PRETTY QUEEZY FROM ALL THE BLOOD. AFTER I GOT HER A TOWEL TO SOAK UP THE BLOOD I SAT ON THE FLOOR WITH MY HEAD BETWEEN MY LEGS FOR ABOUT THE NEXT 45 MIN. I JUST CAN'T DO BLOOD, CAN YOU TELL?? TRENT IS THE SAME WAY, HOW WE WILL PULL TEETH/HELP OUT OUR KIDS WHEN LOTS OF BLOOD IS INVOLVED IS A MYSTERY!! THE ONLY THING I HATE ABOUT LIVING HERE, THERE IS NOT AN EMERGENCY OFFICE CLOSE. UGG.
9)We got to spend time with Kylee & Maddox. They came down for a visit and the girls and I had fun playing with them. We went to Inside Scoop one of the days. It was so fun, my dream is to have a sibling live here someday, prob won't ever happen, but I can dream right??
10)Made the best dinner today...AFTER A 24 HOUR FAST I AM LIKE AN ANIMAL AND CALORIES/GUILT FLY OUT THE WINDOW!! LOL YUMMY RICE AND CHICKEN/BUTTERNUT SQUASH, ROLLS, AND PUMPKIN CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS...YUMMO!!
