Our Wild Weekly Ten....

1)My week was going all hunky-dory until I sat down in the dentist chair at my periodontists office in St. George Wed.(My mom and I ran some errands earlier that day, then we hung out at my sisters for about an hour. I left the girls and my mom there as I went to the office. I was really nervous before, but tried to calm myself down.)I'm just gonna tell it how it was, no sugar-coating involved. It was tough getting all the shots to begin with, the first one in the roof of my mouth was so terrible. Then I got way too hot and took my jacket off, then my shoes, he got a wet paper towel for my forehead he said I was burning up, YEP I was nervous. I wanted to be brave and keep my eyes open for most of the time, then when the blood started to squirt everywhere, I was done, I DO NOT DO BLOOD!! The worst part was when they scraped of the roof of my mouth, It felt like they were grading cheese, not fun at all. The sound was so disturbing. My mouth was full of blood the whole time. Then a thought came to my mind "Why am I doing this to myself"? (Oh ya 3 different doctors told me I needed to get it done, plus I have been having major sensitivity issues) So many long minutes later, the surgery was finally over!! I sat up put on my jacket and shoes. My puffy head nodded as they read off directions and then, I walked out the door. Went and picked up my prescriptions and I was off to my sister Elliah's. I was using Evelyn's drawing board to communicate with Elliah and my mom. We had the longest car ride home EVER. Lyla had not slept all day, Evelyn was cranky, & so was I. Plus it was hard for me to talk. We drove through a pretty bad rainstorm to get home. Bless my Mom for coming with me that day, I can never do stuff like that without her. I can never pay her back for those types of things. Since the surgery, I spent the first 2 days spitting out blood into a cup, have been taking pain killers non stop and they have made me sick due to the fact I can't eat ANYTHING BUT SMOOTHIES, NOT EVEN SOUP WITH LITTLE CHUNKS, CAN'T CHEW AT ALL, & I AM MISSING ALL OF MY WORKOUT, MY CLASS & ANNIE'S. THIS HAS MADE ME KRANKY, AND SAD.I ALSO HAVE TO WEAR A MOUTHPIECE SO I TALK LIKE I AM REALLY 15. SO SO FUN. OK ENOUGH SELF LOATHING...
2)Our cable company hasn't been providing super service, and we were without any of our channels for about a week. We were fed up. We got Dish and are so excited. Oh and DVR oh how we love it. We have already been recording and skipping through commercials, we have been missing out. Dish has great service and we L.O.V.E them.
3)Because of my surgery and Trent working in the office this week he was able to work on his Mustang. I am happy working on his mustang gives him the same happiness that working out does for me. So when he gets to do it I can tell he is just more cheery ya know. It's coming along nicely.
4)I have got to bust out my parenting books because I do not know what to do with Evelyn. Anything/everything I say to her, I get a sassy mean/I am not gonna do that/ your not the boss/ stop it mom remark. I HATE IT. We have taken away lots of toys and today I took her in the bathroom and washed her mouth out with soap. She has NO respect for me at all. NONE. Parenting books her I come...Please Help....
5)Lyla is climbing everywhere and wanting to be way bigger/older than she is. Today she fell off of Trent's fourwheeler and hit her face on the sharp fourwheeler pegs, it was so very sad.
6)Lyla is also refusing to drink milk and I tried Pediasure and it's a no go with that as well. Gotta bust out some other food for vitamin D I guess.
7)Evelyn is learning her letters pretty fast now, I have this dry-erase book that she traces the letters.
8)Ordered me some cute bermuda shorts for our hot summer, it will be here sooner than we think.
9)Had a fabulous Valentine's Day. Trent came home from lunch with some pretty flowers for me and a red rose in a vase for both of the girls. He is so sweet and we are so lucky to have him in our life. Thanks for being my Valentine honey!! *Also ate dinner at Rod & Camille's it was lots of fun.
10)We got to celebrate my moms b-day with taking her out to lunch at Inside Scoop, it was fun and really yummy. I love her and am so proud to be her daughter, she is the sweetest person ever. Love you mom. You still look amazing for your age by the way!!

Evelyn:1)"Mom I like living in Overton, better than Provo and our old house!" Me: " I am so glad so do I".
2)Me: (While watching Tv) Justin Bieber flashes up on the screen, he really needs to pull his pants up/lose the earings!" Evelyn: "But, Mom you love Justin Bieber....HA HA HA
3)*(While playing a Taylor Swift song in the car) Evelyn: "Mom is this Uncle Taylor Swift Singing?"
4)Evelyn: "Makenzie Bush". Me: "Why did you say that? Do you know who that is?" Evelyn:" No, I don't know why I said that...laughing". ** Makenzie Bush is a girl in our ward who is adorable, she probably hears me talking about how I want her to babysit our girls so badly.
5)Evelyn:" I am not gonna do that, I am gonna spank you, I'm not gonna do anything cause your the boss!!" (SCREAMING THIS WHEN I WANT/ASK HER TO DO ANYTHING, I AM DEALING WITH A TEENAGER RIGHT NOW. MAN I AM STUMPED AS TO WHAT I NEED TO DO, LOOKS LIKE I GOTTA PRY OPEN MY PARENTING BOOK!!
6)Lyla: "Eban (Evelyn), Mommy, Dada, Eyes, Ears, Nose, Mouth, Hair, Up....and she nods her head when she wants something as well.

Weekly Ten...

**Yes I am pretty lame that these are the only posts I do, but as long as I can journal for our family each week I am good.
1)Lyla thought it would be cool to put a baseball into Trent's exhaust pipe of our brown truck. Trent was outside stripping copper at the time. He could not get it out, after many attempts he jacked up his truck so it would be at an angle revved up and it came flying out. LYLA DON'T EVER DO THAT AGAIN.
2)We got our tax return back this week....woot woot. What to do with it this year....hmm. Well, this week I have to get gum reconstruction done and it is gonna be expensive, luckily we have no debt to pay off. We love that feeling but can't have it always. Its so hard to not each take some money and do whatever with it. This year we are most likely gonna put that into savings and get an SUV in the near future. Yes, I said SUV....oh man. Last year we wanted to do it, we went car shopping but, didn't feel it was the right time to do so. Hope to get one soon.
3)Lyla stayed a little longer into nursery today, crying and clinging onto Sister Beckstrand and crying...but that is a step forward believe it or not.
4)Had a great day at the Logandale park with a bunch of friends. Gotta love getting the kiddos out of the house, and we get to vent about life and how much our busy we are. And blah, blah, blah.... It is so nice:) Wish I could do it every day.
5)Lyla hasn't been as happy this week, I took her bottle away, I figured it was time. I tried before this week to slowly take it away, didn't do anything. SO COLD TURKEY I WENT!! It was so stinking hard, cause she loves it and holds it so cute. So, bottle is gone, but she REFUSES TO TAKE MILK FROM ANYTHING ELSE, SO THAT IS A PROBLEM. BUT I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GIVE IT TO HER WITH EVERY TYPE OF SIPPY CUP/ALSO GIVING HER WHATEVER I CAN TO MAKE UP FOR THE NUTRIENTS SHE IS MISSING. I THINK SHE WILL GIVE IN SOON, MY NEPHEW DID THE SAME THING, NOW HE IS FINE.
7)Busted out my shorts this week because it is pretty warm here, in the low 70's and I really love it. It scares me a little about the heat ahead though.
8)Painted my sewing machine table this week, it was a lot of work but it turned out so cute. And of course I have no photo to prove it yet...yikes.
9)Evelyn got to attend her first birthday party for Fallon Yardley. It was on Sat. and she was so excited they rode horses and had a blast. She said she wants to do a friend party for her b-day in May.
10)Trent was happy to pick up working on the Mustang again, yes he has really missed it a lot. Hard for him to find time and energy.
11)Went to the best Stake Womens Conference ever, oh my gosh the decorations, speakers, spirit were so amazing. I think the last speakers talk could have been a general conference talk it was that good. I got to go with my mother, it was wonderful indeed!!

Weekly Ten...

1)Lyla left a surprise (you know what) on Evelyn's floor. Here the pic to prove it. lol. Evelyn was like "I need help cleaning this up".
2)Katie Roberston & I went to visit Nicole's grave, and then the May family on her 10th anniversary day. It was nice to do something for Nikki and visit with her lovely family. She is missed so much & I have so much love for the May's.
3)I spent about 10 hours cleaning and organizing our garage. I cleared and vacuumed out where we store everything. You should have seen the mess before.
4)Finally took a pic of my new wall & curtains I stamped in my house, here it is, the proof I am slowly changing my house.
5)Tonight I did not give Lyla her bottle of milk after her bath, she was really stubborn, however took a few sips from a sippy. Little steps right?
6)Had an amazing workout week as usual, oh how my class and Annie's Zumba allow me to look forward to my week. They really do keep me sane.
7)I told the Overton 4th ward my testimony today, I was really scared and proud of myself. It was time too, I really am so grateful for my life and all of the blessings Heavenly Father is willing to give me.
8)Had a scare Tues. morning when Lyla decided it would be fun to get a toddler chair and climb on it by the window seal in Evelyn's room. But she hurt her mouth pretty bad. I just remember running in there, blood, lots of it. I wasn't sure if she bit through her bottom lip/or moved her teeth. IT WAS BAD THOUGH. SO BAD THAT I WAS GETTING PRETTY QUEEZY FROM ALL THE BLOOD. AFTER I GOT HER A TOWEL TO SOAK UP THE BLOOD I SAT ON THE FLOOR WITH MY HEAD BETWEEN MY LEGS FOR ABOUT THE NEXT 45 MIN. I JUST CAN'T DO BLOOD, CAN YOU TELL?? TRENT IS THE SAME WAY, HOW WE WILL PULL TEETH/HELP OUT OUR KIDS WHEN LOTS OF BLOOD IS INVOLVED IS A MYSTERY!! THE ONLY THING I HATE ABOUT LIVING HERE, THERE IS NOT AN EMERGENCY OFFICE CLOSE. UGG.
9)We got to spend time with Kylee & Maddox. They came down for a visit and the girls and I had fun playing with them. We went to Inside Scoop one of the days. It was so fun, my dream is to have a sibling live here someday, prob won't ever happen, but I can dream right??
10)Made the best dinner today...AFTER A 24 HOUR FAST I AM LIKE AN ANIMAL AND CALORIES/GUILT FLY OUT THE WINDOW!! LOL YUMMY RICE AND CHICKEN/BUTTERNUT SQUASH, ROLLS, AND PUMPKIN CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS...YUMMO!!

I MISS HER....

TODAY MARKS THE TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ONE OF MY CLOSEST FRIEND NICOLE MAY'S PASSING. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT DAY OR WHAT IMPACT YOU HAD ON MY LIFE. THANKS FOR BEING A GREAT FRIEND. YOU ARE THE MOST CHRISTLIKE PERSON I HAVE EVER KNOWN. NICOLE, WHERE WOULD YOU BE IN LIFE RIGHT NOW? WE HAVE GOTTEN A LOT DONE THE LAST TEN YEARS, BUT YOU HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO A FAR GREATER WORK. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER NEEDED YOUR HELP SO HE BROUGHT YOU HOME. I WENT TO YOUR GRAVE ABOUT A MONTH AGO IT HAD BEEN A LONG TIME. I WAS BY MYSELF AND L-O-S-T IT REALLY, IT JUST TOOK ME BACK TO THE LAST TIME I SAW YOU. I AM SO GLAD I HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE WHERE I CAN VISIT OFTEN. WE MISS YOU NIKKI, SOMEDAY WE WILL SEE YOU AGAIN!
*P.S. I ALWAYS TELL EVELYN ABOUT HOW COOL YOU WERE...MAYBE YOU TOLD MY GIRLS GOOD LUCK WHEN THEY SENT THEM TO ME!!

Weekly Ten Ya'll...

1)Got my camera back from the Canon repair store in Cali. I have to say it feels good to have it back. I felt like a piece of me was missing.
2)Did a really fun photo shoot of the girls. Thought I would be creative and take some reflection ones of myself. I am never in any photos, and hardly ever try to do a serious face, because I often look angry. It turned out ok so I posted it on facebook and here. Maybe my kids will enjoy it someday:)
3)Finally got some vinal put up in my house. I am really a slacker at taking pics, but am really gonna try and get some up so you can see.
4)Joined the Disney Movie Club. We are excited to start off with 7 awesome movies for only $21 oh ya. Can't beat that.
5)Caught myself a cold, I didn't use Onguard (essential oil that is amazing) for a few days and well, that is why I caught it something. I am really wanting to get into essential oils and more natural remedies for medicine.
6)Trent left us early Sat. to go to Dumont and ride his fourwheeler all day with his brother Ty. They had a great time, and I think needed that break from work. NO WRECKS SO THAT IS GOOD!
7)Spent way too much money Friday at Walmart by myself. Ok moms. I never walk out of walmart without spending at least $100 plus much more. Are you the same. I told Trent I really plan out my list and try to get healthy/yummy food for dinners and stuff. Plus I like to keep our bathroom stuff stalked up and those things can really add up. I am always wanting to coupon, but not willing to give up more valuable time for it. Ugg.
8)Lyla's new things for this week: She says NO, and she loves to randomly sing songs.
9)Evelyn's new things for this week: She loves to talk back to me. If I say don't do that...She comes back with: "Mom, don't talk to me like that, I am gonna give you a spanking, and you are in trouble and go in time out and yada yada yada. *Wait I thought I had a almost 4 year old NOT A TEENAGER.
10)Working out has such a great impact on my attitude and life. I LOVE TO ATTEND ANNIE'S ZUMBA CLASS, AND TEACH PILATES. TEACHING IS SO FUN AND REWARDING. I REALLY LOVE HOW THE EXERCISES KICK ALL OF OUR BUTTS TOGETHER YA KNOW!! AND ANNIE MAKES CARDIO SO MUCH FUN. THEY MAKE MY WEEKS COMPLETE REALLY. I WOULD BE A MESS LIVING HERE IN TOWN WITHOUT THESE CLASSES.

Weekly Ten...

1)Had a crazy/long day in St. George Wed. with my mom and the girls. I had to visit a periodontist. I have gums that are receding gums on one side of my mouth. It stared when I was pregnant with Evelyn, and is pretty bad now. So I get to drop $1,000 to get that done...yippee! We also went to Costco and my sister Elliah's and Walmart. It was a crazy fun day with my mom. Not to mention the mix up we had with the time change and my moms clock that was 2 hours off. LOL My mom was so nice to come with me.
2)Trent witnessed a car accident and the idiot who ran into the other car, just took off sooo. Trent ended up going about 95 to catch the guys license or something. He cornered him in a slow lane, and the other car found him. That made his drive to work a little more exciting!! Go Trent Go!!
3)Lyla has started to try and climb out of her crib and up on the kitchen counter and out of her car seat straps. And anything else she can think of to make my life a little harder;)
4)Evelyn keeps talking about how she wants to go to school....learn more looks like I gotta step up my game and figure out the preschool thing for next year. I ordered her a backpack so she can take it with her when she wants. She put it on and it made me realize how close school will be here for her.
5)Had the most people I have ever had in a pilates class Wed. night. It is so fun to get new people, I love teaching, it is so rewarding and fun to make new friends, work out, and get results together.
6)Watched Enchanted about 10 times with the girls. You should see them, they are glued the whole time. It really is a cute movie.
7)Crawled up into our garage storage and got tons of allergies and so dirty. We are currently trying to majorly organize all of our crap in the garage.
8)I am terribly missing my 40D camera and photo shoots. It took forever for Canon to get back to me. It's going to be $234 ouch. Hope to get it paid soon, and get it back into my hands.
9)Did some paint crafts, I am almost done with my sewing desk!
10)Found out my sister Kylee is expecting...yay for her and her cute family!!
10)Also found out our power bill was $330 double triple OUCH!! I guess we run our heat a little too much!!
